'Grease' covers KHS stage
Performing Arts Department presents classic musical at 7 p.m. on Fri., May 9.
Looking for a classic musical performed by some of the best actors, singers, and dancers Kokomo High School has to offer?
This is the one that you want!
Get a good look at Sandra Dee when the Kokomo High School Performing Arts Department presents the final performance of "Grease: School Version" on Fri., May 9. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a 7 p.m. show at the high school auditorium.
The production is directed by Randi Weeks and Cherresa Lawson, neither of whom are beauty school drop-outs. But they are hopelessly devoted to good theatre, and they go together like greased lightnin'.
Meanwhile, the performers on stage look like they were born to hand jive on an unforgettable summer night. There are worse things they could do!
Tickets are available now by visiting www.kokomohs.booktix.com, or they can be purchased at the door. The cost is $10 per ticket, although children ages 4 and under are admitted free with an accompanying adult.
