Latitude 40 vs. Circle Pizza; McFarland Farms vs. Sweet Peas Play Cafe

Northwestern Softball's Latitude 40 Auction and Sales faced Greentown Girls Softball League's Circle Pizza at home on opening night of the 2022 8U Howard County Tournament.

Circle Pizza came out swinging, forcing Latitude 40 Auction and Sales to make plays in the field. The team from Northwestern played solid defense, but it wasn’t enough to suppress Circle Pizza’s efforts at the plate.

Circle Pizza advanced to the next round to face Tri-Central’s McFarland Farms.

In the second game of the night, Tri-Central Girls Softball League's McFarland Farms battled Greentown’s Sweet Peas Play Café. In a well-suited match, the teams traded runs, with McFarland Farms ultimately pulling out the win over Sweet Peas Play Café.

McFarland Farms advanced to the championship game on Friday night after the Final Four was delayed due to weather.
