Zoom sessions this week for businesses, nonprofits, faith leaders to connect to university's renewed focus on Kokomo
Indiana Wesleyan University’s Kokomo Thriving Center invites the community, business and nonprofit leaders, and faith leaders to learn more and partner.
Indiana Wesleyan University in Kokomo is now the IWU Kokomo Thriving Center. It is launching community-focused programs, professional development, and partnerships starting this August. The community is invited to come and learn more about IWU’s initiatives and how business leaders, companies, organizations, or churches can be engaged.
The Kokomo Thriving Center will hold on Thursday, July 14 at 11:30 a.m. or 6 p.m. a half-hour Zoom conference to learn more about all the Kokomo Thriving Center initiatives. During this half-hour call, the university will share information about:
1) New professional development and academic programs: Micro-credentials, Certificates, Bachelor and Master's degrees in leadership, life coaching, human services, and addiction counseling.
2) IWU’s partnership with Leadership Kokomo: This partnership will include free monthly webinars for LK and alumni, IWU faculty supporting the leadership training of the next cohort starting Aug. 16, and the announcement that LK graduates will receive three credits towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership by completing the Leadership Kokomo program.
There are still a handful of seats left for the next cohort starting Aug. 16 for Leadership Kokomo. Apply here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/D78XQ7C
