Kokomo celebrated National Night Out on Aug. 2 with members of the Kokomo Police Department. Officers were on hand in Foster Park, cooking hot dogs and meeting with the community, as well as at Garden Square Apartments, participating in the Kokomo Housing Authority's Back to School Bash.
During the event, KPD raffled off a boy’s and a girl’s bicycle, and the celebration concluded with the annual “Bash at the Beach” when Kokomo Beach opened for a free evening swim.
