The Kokomo Lady Wildkats corralled the Peru Tigers at Kokomo High School on Friday evening. Following a loss to conference foe Harrison on Thursday, the Kats' bats came to life, routing the Tigers 15-5.
Junior Liliana Lamberson led Kokomo at the plate, launching two home run balls over the fence and collecting five RBIs. Dani Tate went 3-4, with Gwen Hand and Kami Shoemaker adding four hits as well.
Taylor Reed added to the offense with a three-run double. On the mound, Hand earned the win (2 IP, 6 K, 3 BB, 1 H).
