The next round of funding from the American Recovery Plan (ARP) is expected to arrive next month, and the City of Kokomo is developing plans for how to spend it. But the item most requested in recent days – restoration of the city’s ambulance service – was not on the list.
Mayor Tyler Moore gave a spending report to the Kokomo Common Council on April 11, which included stormwater drainage, restroom improvements at two parks, and a variety of other items that already have been funded with the first ARP allocation. The second allocation will be $10 million, Moore disclosed.
