The Howard County Board of Commissioners recognized the county’s employee of the month at its April 4 meeting. Hudson Lappin, an employee of the Howard County Health Department, attached to environmental health special projects, was this month’s recipient. Lappin was recognized for taking over jurisdiction of the county’s COVID vaccine clinic as it winds down.

The commissioners also authorized Dustin Delong, director of the county’s adult probation office, to pursue a pair of grants.
