Tiffany Gail (Main) Bagby
Tiffany Gail Bagby, 35, of Kokomo, passed away Wednesday March 29, 2023, at her home. She was born in Kokomo, IN, on November 13, 1987, the daughter of James “Jim” Main Jr. and Joanne (Roushar) Main. On May 25, 2016, she married Christopher Bagby in Kokomo, IN, and he survives.
Tiffany was a 2005 graduate of Kokomo High School and was very proud of graduating with honors. She was currently employed as a personal nanny and formerly employed at Great Beginnings Day Care. She had a passion for children and caring for them. She had a very bubbly personality, was super outgoing, and a creative individual. She had interests in astronomy, planets, and the stars. She loved storm chasing, ghost hunting, and caring for stray animals. She adored her beloved dog, Donut.
In addition to her husband Chris, Tiffany is survived by her children, Austin Main, Kaelin Bagby, Chase Bagby; parents, James “Jim” Main Jr. and Joanne Main; sister, Kellie (James Robins) Main; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randy and Lisa Bagby; siblings-in-law, Taylor (John) Hillman, Dustin (Tayler) Bagby; nieces and nephews, Andrew, Kendall, Emmaline, Cooper, Haisley, Oliver; and her second family, the Sims family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James Main Sr. and Mary Main; maternal grandparents, John and Gail Roushar.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3 pm to 5 pm Wednesday April 5, 2023, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo, IN 46902. Funeral service will begin at 5 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Jeff Russell officiating. Willie J. Dunn
Willie J. Dunn, 93, passed away at 4:05 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2023 at his home. He was born May 12, 1929 in Lee City, KY, the son of the late Dan and Onia (Hager) Dunn. On March 3, 1953 he married Ada L. (Baily) in West Liberty, Kentucky, and she preceded him in death on December 3, 2007.
Willie served in the United States Army from 1951 until he was honorably discharged in 1953. He retired from Cuneo Print Shop after 23 years of service. Willie went on to work at Jacob’s Service station in Greentown, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
Willie is survived by his son, William K. Dunn; siblings, Mary Harrington, Mattie Parks, and Marcus Dunn; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Ada, Willie was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Danny Eugene Dunn.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main Street, Greentown. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Roy King officiating. Cora Burton
Cora Elizabeth Burton, 98, of Kempton, passed away at 9:02 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at IU Health Tipton Hospital. Born June 13, 1924, on Friday the 13th, on the farm where she lived all her life, she was the 6th daughter of Asa Temple and Stella Eve (Orr) Crail. On December 28, 1948, she married Junior Dale Burton, in the Liberty Baptist Church, and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2019. They were the parents of four sons, Roger, Jerry, Joseph, and Matthew.
Elizabeth graduated from Prairie High School in 1942 and attended Indiana Business College. She was active in her early years in the 4-H Prairie Club with her sewing skills, representing the county in state exhibitions. She was always active in community service and always willing to volunteer. She was a charter member of Tri-Add Extension Homemakers and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, where she spent many years as president of the Missionary Society. She was active in the Prairie Alumni Association, a life member of the Greentown Glass Association, and a life member of the Kokomo Chapter D.V.A. She was a 65 year active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, in Kempton, Tipton and Russiaville. In 1961, she was appointed District Deputy of O.E.S in Indiana, representing District #10. She served as Tipton County Century Farm Chairman for 21 years. Elizabeth was an avid sewer, making countless casserole carriers, baby blankets, clowns, and other items. She was employed for 68 years as a correspondent of the Tipton Tribune.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry Lee Burton, of Kokomo, Joseph Scott Burton, of Mason, Ohio, and Matthew Lynn (Starr) Burton, of Kokomo; grandchildren, Sonja Burton, of Kempton, Brittnee (Aaron) Smith, of Kokomo, Carter Burton, of Whiteland, Austin (Summer) Burton, of Kokomo, and Spenser Burton, of Whiteland; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roger Burton; granddaughter, Lisha Young; and her sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Jeff Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Eastern Star services to begin at 7 p.m. Contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project. James “Jim” Wooldridge
James “Jim” Earl Wooldridge, 96, Logansport, passed away at 7:48 am, Thursday, March 30, 2023, at his home. He was born on December 25,1926, in Tipton County. He was the son of the late Joseph Wooldridge and Verna (Jones) Wooldridge. On April 13,1958, in Kokomo, Indiana, he married Katie Blankenship, and she survives.
He served his country in the United Sates Navy during World War II on the USS Shenandoah. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he returned to Kokomo eventually working as a group leader at General Motors, retiring in 1983. He enjoyed the Florida sunshine, fishing, bowling, shuffleboard, and spending time with his loved ones. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Presbyterian Churches in Kokomo and Rochester.
Jim is survived by his wife, Katie; children, Garry (Kathy) Wooldridge, Joy (Dave) Hoagland, Dee Dee (Doug) White, Anna Hook; grandchildren, Shawn (Tori) Wooldridge, Shane (Jaime) Hosler, Eric Woodhouse, Evan (Katelyn) Wooldridge, Kristie (Chuck) Barr, Jill (Jason) Reehling, Nicholas (Michele) White, Nathan White, James Hook, Joseph (Raylie) Hook. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Sharon “Susie” Wooldridge; siblings, John Wooldridge, Betty Hinders, Helen Estle, Jerry Wooldridge, Billy Wooldridge, Barbara Wooldridge.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team.
