Jeremy Brandon Stout
Jeremy Brandon Stout, 49, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at his home. He was born in Kokomo, on March 8, 1974, the son of Donald Stout and Cynthia “Cyndie” (Ham) Horback.
Jeremy graduated from Kokomo High School. He was employed at Firm Foundation, where he did construction. Jeremy enjoyed fishing and was an excellent Bass fisherman and self-taught woodworker. He practiced a style of martial arts that originated from Okinawa called Shorin-ryu. In this, he achieved a 3rd level Kyu (Brown Belt).
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Cyndie & Tom Horback; children, Jeremiah Stout, Pyke Stout, and Myah Collins; aunt, Judy (Pat) Canady; uncle, Louis Stout; and cousins, Christopher Campbell, Nicholas Campbell, and Jason Stout.
He was proceeded in death by his father.

Nicole “Nikki” Cockrell
Nicole “Nikki” Cockrell, 51, Wabash, passed away at 10:53 pm on Sunday April 9, 2023, at Vernon Manor in Wabash, with family by her side. She was born in Kokomo, on August 16, 1971, to the late Harlan Lewis and Judy Ann (Williams) Cockrell. We are blessed in the knowledge that Nikki was greeted in her new perfect body in Heaven by her loving mother and father.
Nikki went to Kokomo High School and attended their special education program. She knew when her family was with her and enjoyed their visits. Nikki never spoke a word but was able to understand what others said to her. She enjoyed listening to music, and going on car rides and especially enjoyed eating the food and drinking the Sprite her family would bring her.
Nikki is survived by her brother, Chad (Kasey) Cockrell; aunts, Dottie (Larry Weeden) Salsbery, and Marjorie (Larry) Bales, Bonnie Talley, Carol Jarrett; and uncles, Thomas “Tommy” (Jill Quackenbush) Williams, Arnold Cockrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan Lewis Cockrell & Judy Ann Gray; step-father, Michael Gray; aunt, Drama “Fuzzy” Doyle and uncle, Glen Williams.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Vernon Manor for the loving care that they provided to Nikki during the time she lived there.
