Monica Louise Hudelson Broadlick
September 10th 1954 to April 14th 2023
Monica passed peacefully at her home in Kokomo, Indiana with her husband and cat, LC by her side. A 1972 graduate of Taylor High School, she was enjoying her retirement from Allan Wilson’s law firm in Kokomo.
Monica began her long career as a legal secretary, working in her stepfather, Joseph A. Noel’s law office. She was a St. Louis Cardinals super fan who loved music, watching the Indianapolis Colts and Indy 500 cookouts. She enjoyed spending time at the lake cottage, planting flowers, taking walks, riding in the golf cart, boating and catching sun rays.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Patricia “Patsy” Carr Noel and Philip Hudelson. Survived by her husband, Russell “Rusty” Broadlick and two sisters and a brother, Denise Hudelson Cavanaugh (Patrick), Maureen Hudelson Snow (Steve) Patrick “PJ” Noel. Also survived by her pride and joy, two nieces and a nephew and two great nephews.
Monica lived in St. Louis for 8 years, until she married Rusty, the love of her life and followed him back to Indiana to live for 33 years. They sipped champagne every Thursday night in celebration of their marriage and vacationed on Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands, where she and Rusty made many “forever friends”.
Monica was a kind and loving soul. She will be forever missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held from 2pm until 6pm on Sunday, April 23rd at The Hobson, 110 N. Washington St. in Kokomo. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Central Indiana Susan G. Komen, Kokomo Humane Society or any of the relief funds, benefiting the people and island of Jost Van Dyke, BVI after the Hurricane Irma disaster.

Jacob Russell Herring, age 23, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Jacob was born in Kokomo, Indiana.
A public visitation will be held on Fri., April 21, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Abundant Life Church, 1025 E, 400 S, with the funeral to follow at 7 p.m.
