John L. Noble
John L. Noble, 107, Greentown, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at his home. He was born March 10, 1916 in Kokomo, the son of the late Frank and Mabel (Crousore) Noble. On October 7, 1939, he married Wilma Shockley, who preceded him in death on December 21, 2003.
John retired from Continental Steel after 39 ½ years of service. John loved his family, brothers and sisters. He also loved his church and church family. John was a member of the Greentown Wesleyan Church. In his last years, he was very well known at the Markland Mall. There, he had good friends and good times! And the mall hosted three birthday parties for John. Other activities he also enjoyed was carpentry and yardwork.
John is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Alspaugh, and Linda Miller; 4 grandchildren, Sandy (Kerry) Horoho, Trina (Rick) Stout, Vince (Shannon) Shrader, and Jay (Sherri) Miller; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and 2 siblings, Joan Taylor, and Leo “Jack” Noble.
In addition to his wife Wilma, John was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lena, Josephine, Jean, and Frank “Tiny”; great-granddaughter, Kylie Miller; and sons-in-law, Jerry Alspaugh, and Donald Miller.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Greentown Wesleyan Church, 120 N. Maple St., Greentown, with Pastor Paul Boss officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery, Kokomo. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the start of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greentown Wesleyan Church in John’s memory.

Dana Monique Cunningham
Dana Monique Cunningham, 56, Sharpsville, passed away at 12:40 am Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo. She was born November 15, 1966, in El Reno, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Coleman Leroy & Sandra Lee (Utsler) Wagner. On April 18, 1998, she married Jason R. Cunningham, who survives.
Dana was a graduate of Tri-Central High School, class of 1985 and went on to earn her C.N.A. certification. She was a florist at Brumbaugh’s Greenhouse for several years.
Along with her husband Jason, Dana is also survived by her children, Eric Day and Gabrielle (David) Medina; sisters, Shanna (Sam) Humphries and Tiffany L. Wagner; brother, Coleman L. Wagner, Jr.; grandchildren, Madison Bales, Nicholas Medina, Luciano Medina, and Britteny Medina; great granddaughter, Lily Medina; nieces, Briana Humphries, Kyleigh (Diego) DeLaTorre and Marieana Humphries; and nephews, Jordyn (Dalaenah) Humphries, Sawyer (Tinsley) Humphries, Brandon Ward, Tristan Ward, Skyler Ward and Tevin Humphries.
Dana was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Viola & William Utsler and Ozzie & Bill Klohn; and grandfather, Jack Wagner.
Funeral services will be at 12 pm Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W Lincoln Rd, with Pastor Ray Tetrault officiating. Burial will take place in Greendale Cemetery, Osgood, IN. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 am -12 pm on Thursday day at the funeral home. John Richard Spencer
John Richard Spencer, age 78, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023. John was born in Logansport, Indiana.
A public visitation for John will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.

William “Bill” Fox
William “Bill” Fox, sometimes called Bounce or Mr. Muttonhead, passed at 9:53 a.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023. He was born June 6, 1931, and was the son of Jake and Gladys (Newlin) Fox.
He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1949. He married Guenevere Hancook on September 2, 1952, and she preceded him in death on February 20, 2008. On November 1, 2009, he married Margot Maddox Hight.
He served in the U.S. Army airborne during the Korean War. He attended I.U receiving a B.S in Education in 1955 and a M.A.T in Mathematics in 1959. For 38 years he taught math at Kokomo High School, was a curriculum supervisor of the math department for 20 years and was involved in athletics as an assistant football and track coach. Those 38 years were a blessing to him. In all of his years, the love of family and his faith were most important to him.
Bill is survived by his wife, Margot; sons, David (Toni) Fox, Michael (Lisa)Fox; daughter, Stephanie Westcott; grandchildren, Graham (Suzi) Roe, Abby Fox, Matt (Erika) Fox, Jacob (Natalie) Fox, Joey (Christian) Fox, Bradley Westcott, Emily Westcott, and Natalie Westcott; great grandchildren, Emily Fox, Charlee Fox, Sydney Fox, Nicky Fox, Saylor Fox, Sammy Fox, Noah Fox; brother, Robert Fox; and nephew, Bryan (Joanne) Fox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Guenevere and his sister-in-law, Jean Fox.
A memorial service celebrating Bill’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023, at First Congregational Christian Church, 505 W. Mulberry St., beginning with Military Honors provided by the U.S. Army and the Kokomo V.F.W. Military Rites Team. Pastor Jon Tice will officiate. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo. Private burial will be held in Kokomo Park Cemetery. Betty S. Landis
Betty S. Landis, 77, Kokomo, passed away at 10:07 am Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Waterford Place Health Campus. She was born July 9, 1945, in Charlottesville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Everett and Elizabeth (Kinnett) McGowan. Betty was married to Michael Cone from 1966 to 1978. Then on May 16, 1981, Betty married Russell Landis, the love of her life, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2009.
Betty worked as a realtor and was a member of the Million Dollar Real-Estate Club. She loved caring for the elderly and was a member of the Council of Aging in Delphi. Betty enjoyed playing golf with her husband, Russ, was an incredible cook, and loved to shop. She especially cherished time spent with her family.
Betty is survived by her children, William (Susan) Cone, Carey (Keith) Gaskin, Chris (Jen) Landis, and Josh (Sarah) White; grandchildren, Ashley (Kaleb Roberson) Cone, Amy Cone, Kaitlyn (Sam) Landis Beier, Tyler Landis, Emily White, Katelyn White, Peyton Kirby, Matthew Atherton, Thomas Lapinski, Shannon (Joe) Clouse, and Krysten Lapinski; great grandchildren, Mason Clouse, and Noah Clouse; sisters, Ann (Gene) Russell, Emily (Ed) Dice, Joyce (Don) Zimmerman, Wilma (Max) Maple, and Carolyn (Richard) Culvin; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Russ; son, Sean Lapinski; siblings, Orvel McGowan, Arlus McGowan, J.C. McGowan, Gracie Brummett, Pauline McGowan, Moore McGowan, and Genevieve Bell.

Allen Ross Hawkins
Allen Ross Hawkins, age 84, of Kokomo, Indiana went to be with our lord on Sunday, April 23, 2023. He was born October 29, 1938 in Kokomo Indiana to Mary Ruth (Allen) Hawkins and Robert Ernest Hawkins.
Allen graduated from Kokomo High School in 1956, after which he fulfilled his service with the US Army in Germany. After his service was complete, he spent several years working for Coca-Cola, and then went on to work at GM Delco where he ultimately retired. Allen loved spending time with family at Quaker Haven where they would spend the day water skiing and boating. Allen was also an avid bowler and was most proud of his 300 game. He was a huge sprint car and NASCAR fan and would never miss a race. His absolute favorite car is a corvette. Allen also loved to attend the Purdue and Kokomo basketball games.
Allen is survived by his sister Lois (Hawkins) and Ray Berg; brother George and Alexia (McHale) Hawkins; nieces Kathy and Brett Lee, Alyssa Hawkins; nephews Tom and Lori Berg, Ken and Kathleen Berg, Mike and Julie Berg, Chris and Tenna Hawkins, Burt and Stacy Hawkins, Kurt and Susan Hawkins; and many great nieces and nephews.
