Reg Robert Griffin
Reg Robert Griffin, 58, Greentown passed away at 6:02 p.m. July 25, 2023, in his home. He was born October 10, 1964, in Kokomo Indiana to John Griffin and Lynn (Hensler) Pratt.
Reg graduated from Eastern High School in 1983 and went on to attend Indiana University and ITT Technical University, graduating in 1988 certified in A/C, Heating and Refrigeration. He had been employed as a service manager for APEX Industries and the Freije Company.
Reg was baptized at Jerome Christian Church at the age of 13 and had a strong faith that helped him through his health crisis after being diagnosed with CIDP in 2009. He was veteran of the United States Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego California following in the footsteps of his uncle, Larry Hensler and was a proud Marine.
In 2009, Reg was diagnosed with CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy). He participated in the CIDP foundation International, which is a global nonprofit organization supporting individuals and their families affected by CIDP and related conditions through a commitment to support education, research, and advocacy. He enjoyed the annual CIDP “Walk & Rolls” in Indianapolis and oversaw registration for the event.
Reg is survived by his parents, John (Brenda) Griffin and Lynn (Thomas) Pratt, brothers, Wade Griffin and Mark Griffin. Nephews, Jake Griffin, Blaze Griffin and Niece, Orianthi Griffin and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lucius and Vera Hensler and Armetha and Robert Griffin.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday August 4 at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home 112 E. Main St. Greentown with Jeffery Gritton officiating. Family and friends are invited to visit from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m.

Aaron Thomas Everhart
Aaron Thomas Everhart, 43, Kokomo, passed away July 30, 2023. He went home to be with the Lord after an 8-month battle with Pancreatic Cancer at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 9, 1979, to Sharon (Dale) Trusty and Thomas Everhart. He married the love of his life, Holly (Rubow) Everhart on April 28, 2011, and shared 16 wonderful years together and two daughters, Aleecia Rubow and Isabella Summers.
Aaron was a 1998 graduate of Northwestern High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a big sports fanatic, especially football and basketball. He was an Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers fan. Aaron also enjoyed bonfires and going out to eat with his wife and family.
Aaron was a member of Abundant Life Church. He was a very hard-working man and had worked for Subaru since January of 2018. He was a loving, caring, gentle man and everyone that knew him, loved and respected him. Aaron will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Along with his wife Holly, Aaron is also survived by his mother, Sharon Trusty; daughters, Aleecia Rubow and Isabella Summers; in laws he looked at as parents, William and Tamara Rubow; brothers, Cory Everhart and Tommy (Lana) Rubow; along with several nieces and nephews; his favorite uncle, Lowell (Donna) Dale, Jr.
Aaron was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ray Trusty; grandparents, Betty Dale, Lowell Dale, Sr. and Betty Everhart.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Toph Elkins officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1-3 pm Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Aaron’s memory to Abundant Life Church. Sarah May (Long) Eldridge
Sarah May (Long) Eldridge, 81, of Forest, IN, passed away Monday July 31, 2023, at her home. She was born in Clinton County, on May 24, 1942, the daughter of the late Arthur Franklin and Ruby Pauline (Abbott) Long. On August 20, 1960, she married Estil Sherl Eldridge, and he survives.
Sarah was a 1960 graduate of Clinton Central High School. She was the ultimate caretaker to her husband and raising their children. Sarah was passionate about hosting family get togethers. Her favorite hobbies were quilting, cooking, and sewing. She was a member of Michigantown Christian Church and the Extension Homemakers Club. She spoiled all her grandchildren and often played a competitive game of poker with them.
In addition to her husband Estil, she is survived by her children, Timothy (Shelly) Eldridge, Joan (Tim) Wickman, Jean (Mark) Ross; grandchildren, Megan (Chad) Mayes, Jacob Eldridge, Emily (Brandon) Smith, Carly (Joey) Meck, Alex (Sarah) Ross, Erin (Matt) Squaire; great-grandchildren, Levi Ross, Madeline Meck; siblings, Ron (Becky) Long, Susan Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bob Long, David Long, Jim Long.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 am to 1 pm Monday August 7, 2023, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, IN 46979. Funeral service will begin at 1 pm on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Karl Kercheval officiating. Burial will follow in Geetingsville Cemetery. Richard Charles Caruso
Richard Charles Caruso, age 80, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Joseph and Irene (Kuzma) Caruso. He lost his father when he was an infant, and his mother when he was a child, and was raised by his step-parents, Edgar and Charlotte Neuendorf, in Evansville, Indiana. After high school, he enlisted in the Army. After serving his country with honor, he moved to Kokomo, married Mary Louise Bondurant in August of 1971, and they had 2 children. He then attended culinary school for a short time. Afterwards, Richard began working for IU Medical Center, and then Howard Community Hospital as a respiratory therapist, while continuing to serve in the National Guard. He helped to build the Respiratory Therapy Unit, and retired after 36 years. He enjoyed cooking, shopping, and watching westerns. He loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man, who liked to take care of others.
Richard is survived by his son, Anthony (Tammy) Caruso; grandchildren, Tiffany (Shaun) Jones, and Steffany Caruso; great-grandchildren, Amyah Jones, Harley Sheline, Kynley Jones, and Kylar Jones; siblings, Brenda Brown, Mike Brown, Veronica Battles, and Anita Powell; childhood best friend, Dennis Leinendach; as well as lots of aunts, uncles and cousins in Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Caruso; parents, Joseph Caruso and Irene Neuendorf; stepparents, Edgar and Charlotte Neuendorf; daughter, Jennifer Caruso; and brother, Harry Waddell.
A public visitation for Richard will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902 with a funeral mass to begin at 1:00 PM. A burial with military honors will immediately follow the mass at Albright Cemetery, 3910 Albright Rd, Kokomo, Indiana 46902.

Justin Edward Fivecoate
Justin Edward Fivecoate, 37, Columbia City, IN, passed away at 10:50 am Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born July 18, 1986, in Kokomo, the son of Bart & Joanne (Buck) Fivecoate. On March 13, 2018, in Las Vegas, NV, he married Melissa Swain who survives.
Justin loved making and listening to music. He also enjoyed painting, writing poetry, making yearly calendars for family members, boating and swimming.
Along with his wife, Melissa, Justin is also survived by his parents, Bart and Joanne Fivecoate.
Justin was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Daisy.
In keeping with Justin’s wishes, no services are planned at this time. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
Louis Edward Enderle
Louis Edward Enderle, 90, of Kokomo, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born February 5, 1933, in San Antonio, Texas, to Horace William Louis and Mary Magdalen (Ahr) Enderle. He married Jean Verling in 1960, and she survives. He was known to his family and friends as “Lou”.
Lou graduated from Rutgers University in 1956 with a B.A. in Business Administration and Management. While at Rutgers, he was a member of the US Army ROTC. After college, Lou went on to serve in the United States Army in the Ordnance Corps, achieving the rank of First Lieutenant and serving on active duty from 1956 to 1960 and from 1961 to 1962 and on reserve duty from 1960 to 1961 and from 1962 to 1964. Upon completion of his military service, he worked for Modine Manufacturing, IBM, Harris Intertype, American LaFrance, Kawecki Berylco Industries, Inc., Cabot Corporation and finally Haynes International from which he retired in 1992. Lou was an avid woodworker and wood carver and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Kokomo.
In addition to his wife, Jean Enderle, survivors include his son, Louis E. “Lee” (Karen) Enderle, Jr.; and brothers, H.W.L. Enderle, Jr., Fr. Gilbert Enderle, and Alan Enderle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray Enderle; and sister, Mary Enderle Hockstein.
Private burial will take place in the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lou’s memory to the American Heart Association.
