Ryan Paul Hulet
Ryan Paul Hulet, 49, Kokomo, passed away at 12:42 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born October 16, 1974, in Kokomo, the son of Sheryl (Paul) Dean and Lance Hulet. On July 11, 1998, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, he married his high school sweetheart, Lindsay Arthur, and she survives.
Ryan was a 1993 graduate of Eastern High School and a 1997 graduate of Purdue University where he received his bachelor’s in environmental health science. He met the love of his life, Lindsay, in a high school Spanish class where they dated for 8 years before being wed and recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary earlier this year. Ryan was employed with Co-Alliance as the Director of Agronomy Business Development for the last 26 years. He also served as Region 2 Manager, Account Lead, Seed Manager and Agronomy Manager and Asst. Manager in Point Isabel.
Ryan was an active member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and enjoyed watching Purdue sports. He loved watching NFL and participating in fantasy football. Ryan also loved vacationing in Elk Rapids, MI, boating on Elk Lake, and drinking at Shorts Brew Company, along with doing art projects and lifting weights.
Along with his wife, Lindsay, Ryan is also survived by his children, Emma Hulet and Griffin Hulet; mother, Sheryl (Larry) Dean; father, Lance Hulet; brothers, Bret (Lori) Hulet and Brad (Krissy) Dean; mother-in-law, Linda Arthur; brother-in-law, Brad (Brooke) Arthur; sister-in-law, Lacey (Ryne) Brown; nephews and nieces, Marshall Dean and Adler Dean, Brayd and Brody Arthur, Lucy and Rose Brown; cousins, Jessica Franz and Madison (David) Creasey; lifelong best friends, Craig (Nichi) Musgrave, Keaton and Avery Musgrave; and beloved dogs, Harley and Comet.
Ryan was preceded in death by his uncle, John Paul; grandparents, Maurice and Marjorie Dean, Shirley and John Martin Paul and Edmund and Mary Hulet and his father-in-law, Richard Arthur.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2023, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3155 S. 200 W., Kokomo, with Rev. Fr. Kyle Neterer the celebrant. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2-6 p.m. Sunday with a scripture service offered at 1:30 p.m. at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo. Faizon Dante Lynch, 50, passed away on Nov. 22, 2023. A funeral service will be held on Sat., Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 818 N. Apperson Way. Visitation will take place at 10 a.m. prior to the service.
