Wynemah “Nema” H. Minnich
Wynemah “Nema” H. Minnich, 91, Greentown, passed away at 9:10 pm Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Century Villa Health Care. She was born August 21, 1931 in Redfield, SD, the daughter of the late Samuel and Wilma (Stokes) Hardie. On September 4, 1949, she married Eddie Minnich at Macedonia Christian Church, and he survives.
Nema was a 1949 graduate of Greentown High School. In 1994, she retired from ASCS after 25 years of service. Nema was a charter member of the Liberty Gals Extension Homemakers club for over 50 years. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and was an avid knitter. Those who knew her best knew she was very dedicated to her job and her employees. Nema may have not known every farmer in Indiana but knew their farm number through ASCS. Above all, Nema’s grandchildren and her great-grandchildren were her life, as she enjoyed attending their sporting events and band competitions.
In addition to her husband Eddie, Nema is survived by her children, Gary (Pamela) Minnich, and Dan (Vicky) Minnich; grandchildren, Nancy (Darren) Campbell, Amy (Andy) Bautz, Tamara (Tracy) Melton, and Danielle (Richard) Schultz; great-grandchildren, Kevin Campbell, Tucker Campbell, Awan Bautz, Zadyn Bautz, Tadios Bautz, Samiah Bautz, Eden Bautz, Jared Melton, Caleb Melton, Kolten Melton, Kenley Melton, Jasmine (Rick) Van Dyke, Trenton Schultz, Jordan Schultz, and Peyton Schultz; great-great granddaughter, Luna Van Dyke; along with several nieces and nephews.
Nema was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Delores Chambers, Wally Hardie, and Betty Wagoner.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main St., Greentown, with Pastor Paul Nicholson and Nema’s grandson-in-law, Darren Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the start of the service on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the funeral home. Theresa Sue Mast
Theresa Sue Mast, 67, Kokomo, passed away at 12:08 pm on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Waterford Place Health Campus. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on September 5, 1955 to the late Thomas E. and Sarah Sue (Sink) Cooper.
Theresa graduated from Haworth High School in 1973. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with family.
Theresa is survived by her son, Michael (Joan) Mast; grandsons, Eli Mast, Jethro Parado, and Jericho Parado; sister, Mary Crume (Dan Groome); brothers, Pat (Debbie) Cooper, and Dave (Sharon) Cooper; aunt, Flodena Cooper; uncle, Sam (Ruthmary) Sink; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will take place at 2 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, with Chuck Jansen officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from Noon to 2 pm, on Thursday at the funeral home. Gerald A. Tomlinson Sr.
Gerald A. Tomlinson Sr., 81, Kokomo, passed away at 11:46 pm, on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Tipton, IN. on December 2, 1941, to the late Guy H. and Ella R. (Tragesser) Tomlinson. On March 18, 2008, he married Victoria Brown, and she survives.
Gerald was graduated from Middletown High School in 1959. He retired from General Motors in 2000 after 33 years of service. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1964. He was member of the American Legion Post 6. He enjoyed cookouts, camping, golfing, and fishing, and loved traveling to different states.
Along with his wife, Victoria, Gerald is survived by his children, Gerald Jr. (Dawn) Tomlinson, Sherri Chapel, Jackie (James) Tiell, John Ponder, Terry (Lori) Ponder, and Pamela Ponder.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with Gerald’s wishes, there will be no services. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
