Juanita Mae Petty
Juanita Mae Petty, 86, Greentown, passed away at 10:59 pm Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Century Villa Health Care in Greentown. She was born November 29, 1936 in Tipton County, the daughter of the late Vernon and Pansy (Oliver) Shrader. On February 22, 1956, she married Earl Petty, who preceded her in death on December 30, 2021.
Juanita was a graduate of Sharpsville High School. She was self-employed and retired after more than 30 years as the owner of The Paint Box, that she started in 1982. She also had a Christian book store, a card shop, a flower shop and a lunch room in what is now The Greentown Antique Mall. Juanita loved people, and it wasn't unusual for one of her oil painting classes to become more of fellowship meeting with good friends. She and Earl were winter birds for many years, traveling to Donna, TX. During the summer, she loved being at their place on the Tippecanoe River in Delong, IN. Juanita loved going for long walks, gardening, painting, and she was an avid reader. Juanita and Earl were members of Heartland Church on St Rd 19 in Sharpsville.
Juanita is survived by her son, Phil (Starr) Petty; grandsons, Nathan (Jen) Petty, and Neil Petty; 7 great-grandchildren, Victoria, Gavin, Joslyn, Kaiden, Maeli, Ellie, and Mary; 2 step great-grandchildren, Bryan and Cara; brother, Ronald (Melanie) Shrader; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Earl, Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William “Bill” Shrader.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Hasler-Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main St., Greentown, with her son, Phil Petty officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family 4 pm to 7 pm Friday, February 10, 2023, at the funeral home. Judy Bagby
Judy Bagby passed away on February 3, 2023 at Howard Community Hospital.
She leaves behind her husband of 45 years of marriage, James Bagby; daughters, Vicki Gunter, Lesa Young; step-daughter, Stacy Halter; step-son, James Bagby; grandchildren, Troy Young, Geramie Young, Linzey Gunter, James Gunter; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Becky Foust and Carol Lynn Landrum. She will be so missed. "Luv You Mom!"

Andrea Paulette (Allen) Carson
The family of Andrea Paulette (Allen) Carson, Kokomo, announces her passing on February 5, 2023 at the age of 73. She was born in Truman, AR. April 7, 1949 to Gerald & Veda Allen.
Andrea married Timothy Carson July 26, 1969 at the First Assembly of God and have been married 53 years.
Andrea retired from Delco after 30 years and was a member of Local 292. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and enjoyed breakfast on Wednesdays with her friends. She was a member of Northview Church. Above all else she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Andrea is survived by her husband Timothy; daughters Tracy (Jesse) Wyrick & Susan McQuinn (deseased); mother Veda Allen; grandchildren Taylor & Shannon McQuinn, Allie & Ryan Weaver, Jacob Wyrick, Lexie McQuinn, Victoria & Marissa Wyrick and Trenton McQuinn; great grandchildren Liam Moore, Brylen, Lane & Eleanor McQuinn, Kennedy, Keaton & Kolby Weaver, Shelby & Jeff Scott; great great grandchildren Eli Weaver and Anson Scott; brother Gary Allen; sister in laws Sharron Surber & Carolyn Harner.
Andrea is preceded in death by her father Gerald; brothers Gerald Ray & Billy Dewayne Allen; Father & mother in law Warren (Bud) & Bessie Carson.
Visitation will be Friday February 10, 2023 5:00pm-8:00pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home and Cemetery 2097 W. Alto Rd. Kokomo.
Funeral service will be Saturday February 11, 2023 1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Pastor Scott Zurcher will officiate.
