Kathleen "Kathy" Elaine Wolfe
Kathleen "Kathy" Elaine Wolfe, age 74, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024. She was born on November 23, 1949, to the late Faye and Mildred (Irene) Smith. Kathy married Howard Wolfe on January 6, 1978, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2016.
Kathy retired from Delco Electronics in 1998 after 30 years and one day of employment. She was a member of the UAW #292. Kathy was an excellent quilter and seamstress. She was a member of New Life Church. In her earlier years, she taught the youth at Hopewell Methodist Church. Kathy enjoyed going to the lake cottage with her son and daughter-in-law. She was also a member of a Euchre club.
Surviving is her son, Joe (Rhonda) Wolfe; and brother, John (Mary) Smith; and sister-in-law, Diane Smith.
Preceded in death is her loving husband of 38 years, Howard; and brother, Thomas Smith.
There will be a time of visitation for Kathy on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, In. Pastor Devin Galloway will be officiating. Burial will follow to Tetersburg Cemetery in Tipton County.
John T. Hotsinpiller
John T. Hotsinpiller, 81, of Kokomo passed away at 1:30 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, at his home. He was born November 25, 1942, in Smithfield, PA, to Russell and Flora (Cooker) Hotsinpiller. On June 12, 1961, he married Essie Shoaf, and she survives.
John worked for Chrysler retiring after 36 years of service. He was known to be able to fix anything and that was evident in his love of woodworking and restoring and maintaining classic cars. You could often find him in the garage tinkering and bringing new life to his projects whether it was cars or kitchen cabinets. When he wasn’t working on a project, John enjoyed caring for his lawn and landscaping. Most of all he cherished time spent with his family and his dogs.
He is survived by his loving wife, Essie Hotsinpiller and his dog, Sarah; children, John Hotsinpiller Russell, Charity Hotsinpiller and Hope Hotsinpiller; brothers, Gary Hotsinpiller and Paul Hotsinpiller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Rankin and Linda Rock; and brothers, Russell Hotsinpiller, Charles Hotsinpiller, and James Hotsinpiller.
Funeral services celebrating John’s life will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road with Pastor Jeff Haill officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. William P. Webster
William P. Webster, 77, of Kokomo, passed away at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024, at his home. He was born April 13, 1946, in Kokomo, to Marvin Eugene and Helen Louise (McQuinn) Webster. On July 12, 1969, he married Dana C. Ronk, in Kokomo, and she survives.
William grew up in Forest and graduated from Clinton Central High School in 1964. He went on to serve in the Indiana Army National Guard and worked at Delco Electronics for 44 years, retiring as a supervisor. After retirement, he worked for several years at Howard Community Hospital as a security guard. William was an avid golfer for over twenty years and also bowled with his wife for many years. He coached with the American Legion Post 6 Baseball Team along with his father-in-law. He was a fan of IU basketball and liked cars, especially corvettes, which he owned several of.
In addition to his wife, Dana Webster, survivors include his children, Dirk (Mara) Webster and Brock Webster; grandchildren, Clare Webster and Cate Webster; brother-in-law, Tom Davis; and nieces, Beth Davis and Lisa (Tom) Yakas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Cari Lee Webster; and sister, Marlene Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Gary Carpenter officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Lisa G. Wimmer
Lisa G. Wimmer, age 62, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024.
A public visitation for Lisa will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. An entombment will occur Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
Vicki Jo Doke
Vicki Jo Doke, 71, a lifelong resident of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. She was born July 9, 1952, to the late Harry and Jelene (Kyle) Duffy. Vicki married Bruce Doke in 1980, and together they raised three children: Scott, Kristi, and Mark.
Vicki worked at Delco for 9 years until 1981, she then became a homemaker. During her free time Vicki enjoyed playing and coaching softball. She and her husband would go fishing together, even participating in a few fishing tournaments. They loved going camping and frequently traveled before Bruce's retirement. She was an avid roller skater and eventually won a National Championship. She also enjoyed bowling.
In more recent years, Vicki kept herself busy by playing bingo, UNO, and crafting. She crocheted and knitted gifts for her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Vicki is survived by her children Scott (Emily) Carter, Kristi (Mark) Goley, Mark (Elena) Doke; grandchildren Hannah (Tyler) Lemke, Declan Carter, Tiffany Goley, Erin Goley, Alexis Trigg, and Cody Doke; and one sister Susan Duffy.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bruce Doke.
The family will have a private service to honor Vicki's wishes.

Vickie Lee Gruell
Vickie Lee Gruell, 80, Sharpsville, passed away at 6:55 am Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at her home. She was born April 26, 1943, in Connersville, IN, the daughter of the late Lawrence “Bud” & Mary L. (Vansickle) Shaw. On December 22, 1961, in Connersville, she married Harold Charles “Charlie” Gruell who preceded her in death on January 13, 2019.
Vickie was a 1961 graduate of Connersville High School. She was a homemaker who loved to work in her garden, embroidering, cross stitch and knit. Vickie especially cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and her beloved dogs.
Vickie is survived by her children, Damon (Jennie) Gruell, Laura (Shawn) Leonard and Katherine (Andy) Reecer; grandchildren, Tiffany (Cody) Smith, Hannah Reecer Thomas, Wesley Gruell, Alexander Leonard, Elise Leonard, Erin Leonard, Morgan Reecer and Daphne Reecer; great-grandchildren, Cadence Smith, Hadenn Gruell, Dale Smith, Anakin Gruell and Lydia White; sister, Debbie (Ralph) Warner; and sister-in-law, Brenda Bennett.
Vickie was preceded in death by his parents; husband, Charlie; granddaughter, Emily Reecer; and brother-in-law, David Gruell.
In keeping with Vickie’s wishes, no services will be held. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
