Adam D. Beck
Adam D. Beck, 56, of Peru, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at his home. Adam was born June 10, 1967, to Daniel R. and Fonda J. (Lane) Beck. He married Amy St.Clair on September 22, 2001, in Monticello, Indiana and she survives.
Adam worked at Excel Manufacturing as a fork truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, bow hunting, mushroom hunting or just about anything outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially time coaching baseball and softball with them.
Surviving family include his wife Amy Beck of Peru, his children, Jacob (Brooklyn) Beck, Jacob (Samantha) Baber, Samantha (Jarred) Haney, Aaron Baber, Whitney Revolt, Sylas Parker, Lydia (Connor) Beck, and Emily (Dylan) Beck. Surviving grandchildren are, Peyton, Elijah, Cash, J.J., Hadlee, Scout, Seager, Miller, Stone, C.J. and Caleb. He is also survived by one sister, Angela Crawford and Niece and Nephews, Jaymi and Jared Crawford. Close friends, Andrew (Becky) Sanders and family and Greg Carden. Adam is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Chad Greis officiating. Visitation will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.

Johnny B Burnette, age 83, of Kokomo passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
A public visitation for Johnny will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 1:00 PM, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. A burial will occur Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 1:45 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
Christine “Chris” Page
Christine “Chris” Page, 71, Kokomo, passed away at 5:48 am, on Tuesday February 27, 2024, at Majestic Care of Sheridan. She was born in Jasper, In. on December 24, 1952, the daughter of the late Thomas and Henrietta (Schwenk) Vollmer. On June 12, 1976, she married Michael H. “Mike” Page, and he preceded her in death in November of 2020.
Chris graduated from Jasper High School in 1970 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Evansville in 1974. She worked for the Tell City School Corporation as a Physical Education Teacher and retired after 26 years of service. She was a loyal and active member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Chris enjoyed fitness and walking, traveling, vacationing at the beach, and spending summer afternoons gardening in her backyard and relaxing in her pool. But what she loved most was being a grandma to Hayden and Colin.
Chris is survived by her children, Tami (Gary) Cook, Zach (Sara) Page, and Brett (Lara) Page; grandchildren, Hayden Cook and Colin Cook; sister, Sandy (Dave) Wehr; and nieces, Teri Harris, Jayman (Scott) Schmidt, and Tracy (Scott) LaBrosse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
A funeral service will take place at 3 pm on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Deacon Marty Stout officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1 pm until the start of the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org. Judith “Judy” Kay Coffey
Judith “Judy” Kay Coffey, 81, of Kokomo, was called home February 27, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Seton Hospital in Indianapolis. Judy was born in Russiaville, IN, on September 12, 1942, the daughter of the late Don and Margaret (Morris) Chambers. On September 17, 1960, she married Cecil A. Coffey, and he survives.
Judy was a 1960 graduate of Western High School. One of her greatest accomplishments was raising her three daughters and caring for her husband. She enjoyed garage sales, antiquing, and she saw the beauty in all frilly things. She never met a stranger, and her warm smile and big heart made all those around her feel loved. She supported all her daughters and granddaughters with endless trips to sporting events and horse shows. These were times they all truly cherished.
In addition to her husband Cecil, Judy is survived by her three daughters, Janet (life partner Carolyn Haynes) Coffey of Kokomo, Joan (Ryan) Shrock of Galveston, Julie (Joe) Stephens of Logansport; grandchildren, Cheyanne Shrock of Galveston, Madison and Ainsley Dalton of Logansport; brother, Max Chambers of Russiaville; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cecil and Belva Coffey; and several aunts and uncles.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 7 pm Monday March 4, 2024, at Stout & Son Funeral Home – Russiaville Chapel, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, IN 46979. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday March 5, 2024, at the funeral home with Scott Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden. Chester Wheeler “Bud” Landis Jr.
Chester Wheeler “Bud” Landis Jr., 78, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at home. He was born on February 16, 1946, in Chili, IN, the son of the late Chester and Elsie (Vore) Landis Sr. On May 3, 1968, in Peru, IN, Bud married Ingrid Fischer, and she preceded him in death on May 11, 2008.
Bud graduated from Chili High School. He worked as a model maker in the Plant 10 Tool and Die department for Delco Electronics in 1965, before being drafted, at the age of 19, into the United States Army. Bud achieved the rank of Private E1, before being discharged in 1967. Bud liked to fish, hunt, golf, and camp. He was a previous commander for the Kokomo VFW Post #1152 and served 32 years on the VFW military rites team. He served as the Chef de Gare for the 40&8 Voyageur #1103 and had been a chairman for the 40&8 Nurses Training program. He was also a longtime member of the American Legion and FOP Auxiliary. Bud loved spending time with his friends at the VFW and with his family.
Bud is survived by his children, Anthony “Tony” (Heather) Landis and Kimberly (Berry) Allen; grandchildren, Jerrod Landis, Joclynn Landis, Alixandria (Patrick) Perkins, Alexus (Nathan) Stephens, and Kaiya Allen; many great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Conger; and companion, Lisa Mellinger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ingrid; fiancé, Sheila Freeman; and sister, Linda Allman.
A celebration of life service will take place at the Kokomo VFW Post #1152, 920 N. Washington St., Kokomo, on March 9, 2024, at 1 pm, with the Kokomo VFW providing military honors at 1:30 pm. Friends are welcome to join the family for a dinner, following the service, and visit with them until 5 pm. Leveta "Kay" Vickers Spiece
Leveta "Kay" Vickers Spiece, 79, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away February 28, 2024. She was born on October 2, 1944, in Kokomo, IN, the daughter of Hubert Loren and Thelma Idella Brake (McCarter). On May 4, 1991, she married William Spiece who survives.
Leveta graduated from Kokomo High School and received an accounting degree from Indiana University Kokomo. She retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Leveta owned and operated several businesses throughout her life including, Beauty Supply Outlet with business partner Jovita Vanover, and CEO of Vickers International. After her retiring from Vickers International her son Matthew Brake continued her legacy by starting Vickers Graphics of Kokomo. She then enjoyed helping her son Mark Vickers in his retail business at fairs, festivals, malls, and hospital fund raisers where she was loved by all her customers.
Surviving relatives include her husband, William Spiece; one son, Mark Vickers; daughter-in-law, Jerrina Brake; sister, Melveta Shutt all of Kokomo, IN; grandchild, Loren Brake of Wolcott, IN; great grandson, Patrick Brake; nieces and nephews, Jorinda Tovey; Kenneth Shutt; Michael Shutt; Lorinda Lhotka; cousins, Stephanie Denham and Denise Brickler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Matthew Brake; sisters Ethel Mae Humbles and Betty Brake.
