Mary L. Anthony
Mary L. Anthony, 70, Kokomo, passed away at 11:49 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2024, at the St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel. She was born September 8, 1953, in Kokomo, the daughter of Thomas A. & Wanita R. (Merrell) Minor. She married Gary D. Anthony on March 12, 1971, in Kokomo.
Mary was a 1971 graduate of Haworth High School. Mary retired in 2010 from the U.S. Census Bureau. She had previously worked in medical billing in local doctor’s offices.
She was an active member of Brookside Free Methodist Church. Mary enjoyed cooking, baking and time spent with her family. She was gifted at crafting and enjoyed teaching children to craft.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Anthony; her children, Teresa (Joe) Beatty, Katie (Joe) Richards, Carrie (Brandon) Worland; “special daughter”, Stacy (Fred) Edwards; grandchildren, Cory (Nikki) Beatty, Joey (Jenna) Beatty, Brittany (Tyler) Meier, Ethan Richards, A.J. Richards, Amber Beatty, Johnny Edwards, Leo Worland; great grandchildren, Claire Mitchell, Leigha Beatty, Mia Meier, Oliver Beatty, Max Meier, Cameron Meier; sister, Kimberly Minor and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Peyton Beatty; brother, Thomas J. Minor; and her sister, Teresa Minor.
Funeral services celebrating Mary’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Brookside Free Methodist Church, 190 E. 400 South, Kokomo, with Pastor Jeff Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. James “Jim” Thomas Trischman
James “Jim” Thomas Trischman, 77, Kokomo, passed away at 4 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his home. He was born June 22, 1946, in Chicago, IL to the late Wilbert and Florence (McNamara) Trischman. On July 26, 1966, he married Sharon Kay Paul in Columbus, OH, who preceded him in death on January 27, 2017.
Jim was a 1964 high school graduate. He previously worked at Montgomery Ward and retired from Chrysler Corporation-Casting Plant after many years of service. After his retirement, he drove for Button Motors. Jim was a car fanatic and enjoyed his muscle cars and attending various car shows. He was a simple man with an onery sense of humor. When he wasn’t attending car shows or laying by the pool, he enjoyed traveling to casinos.
Jim is survived by his children, Gina McDonald, Julie Robertson, and Tim Trischman; grandchildren, Shauna (Robert) Godbey, Jordyn (Ryan Aeschliman) Gibson, Julian Shanks, Drew McDonald, Jake McDonald, Lucie Robertson, Madison (Jalen) Johnson, Amelia Trischman, Deuce Morgan, and Casen Trischman; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his wife, Sharon, Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters, Dorothy Seybold, and Joan Walsh.
A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 12 p.m. until the start of the service at the funeral home.
Isabella Rose Wright
Isabella Rose Wright, age 11, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
A visitation for Isabella will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 11:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Grace United Methodist Church, 219 West Mulberry Street #101, Kokomo, Indiana 46901, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 P.M.
