Carolyn Jane Woods
Carolyn Jane Woods, 86, of Kokomo went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 18, 2023 surrounded by loving family. Carolyn was born to the late William and Thelma Suter on December 1, 1936. She married James Woods in Kokomo on July 23, 1954 and they were wed for over 65 years. James preceded her in death on March 21, 2020.
Carolyn was a 1954 graduate of Kokomo High School. She retired from Delco Electronics. Carolyn attended Trinity Wesleyan Church in Kokomo until its closure. She enjoyed tending her flower beds, gardening, quilting, crocheting and Bible studies.
Surviving Carolyn are her daughters, Beth Maris and Terri Fuller of Kokomo, sons, Jeff (Connie) Woods of Greentown, and Andrew (Dawn) Woods of Kokomo, sister Cindy (Rick) Ireland of Kokomo, brother Dick Suter of Tennessee, 11 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, and her loving and faithful companion (dog) Buddy.
Those passing before her are her husband James, parents, sister Jean Kanable, and brother-in-law Jack Kanable.
Visitation will be Monday, July 24, 2023 from 10am-1pm at Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo, with funeral service beginning at 1:00pm, officiated by Pastor Marc Watkins. Burial will take place at Albright Cemetery.
Virginia "Jenny" Ruth Hall
Virginia "Jenny" Ruth Hall, age 77, of Galveston, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 17, 2023. She was born November 19, 1945 in Knoxville, TN to the late John and Viola Tucker.
She married Johnnie Hall on May 5, 1973 and together they raised 4 children. Jenny loved spending time outdoors with her family, she spent a lot of her free time fishing and traveling. She also found joy in saving money, making sure to keep every coupon she could. Jenny would seek rummage sales and flea markets for any good deals.
She is a former member of Victory Baptist church. Jenny worked as a CNA for many years, she retired from North Woods Village. She loved her job, and did an amazing job at caring for her residents.
Jenny is survived by her husband of 50 years Johnnie Hall; her children Cheryl (Mark) Pressey, Patsy Gordon, and Albert (Joyce) Gordon; 2 siblings;17 grandkids; 33 great-grandkids; 2 great-great grandkids; she also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jenny is preceded in death by her brother Charles Roberson; son Joe Gordon; great grandson Conner Bogue.
A visitation for Jenny will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ellers Mortuary, 725 S. Main Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Trae Mitchell Riley
Trae Mitchell Riley, 22, Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at his home. He was born October 16, 2000, in Kokomo, the son of Leo Riley & Kristy Soots.
Trae graduated from Kokomo High School in 2020. He loved watching cartoons and tv shows. He also liked visiting Highland Park to see the waterfalls and enjoyed going fishing.
Trae is survived by his parents Leo (Michelle) Riley and Kristy Soots; siblings, Tyler Riley, Noah Boone, Kaden Krizer, and Lillian Krizer; step siblings, Mason, Mackenzie, and Abrielle Sheagley; grandparents, Judy Soots, Carolyn & Jerry Cooley; aunts, Missy Turner and Samantha (Jerry) Horton; uncles, Clint Davis and Mark (Tracy) Evans; and several cousins and loved ones.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Dennis Riley, William Soots, and Richard Razer; great grandma & best bud, Vera Evans; and cousin, Steven Riley.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00p.m. on Monday July 24, 2023, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Greg Wilson officiating. Amber Nicole Christy
Amber Nicole Christy, age 42, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 8:12 AM at Community Hospital East, Indianapolis. She was born on September 7, 1980 in Kokomo, Indiana. Amber married Jonathon "Quentin" Christy on June 3, 2016 in Kokomo, and he survives.
Amber enjoyed fishing, long drives with her husband, and traveling to Tennessee. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Above all, she enjoyed helping others in need.
She is survived by her loving husband of 7 years, Quentin; children, Graham Saunders Jr., Janessa Saunders, Joshua Saunders, and Quinton Parsons; five grandchildren; her parents, Kerry and Carolyn Miller; siblings, Jesse Parsons and Jake (Kiley) Miller; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Peggy Ann Stout
Peggy Ann Stout, 91, met her Lord and Savior at 5:13 in the morning Sunday, July 16, 2023, at her home. She was born May 8, 1932, in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Robert Ray McClure and Sarah Olive (Davis) Snyder. On June 3,1950 she married James Robert Stout at the Camden Baptist Church, who preceded her in death on July 28, 2006.
Peggy was a 1950 graduate of Camden High School. She was a homemaker her entire life, raising their 5 children in the homestead they established. Peggy was a former member of the Burlington Church of Christ in Burlington where she was a nursery Sunday school teacher, fondly known as Miss Peggy, for 60 years. She also served as a leader and teacher at many vacation bible schools at both churches. She was a current member of Judson Road Christian Church. She served 10 years for Samaritan Caregivers. Peggy was an avid artist, donating many of her beautiful oil paintings to close family and friends. In addition to art, Peggy was an excellent seamstress, sewing many dresses over the years for her girls. Peggy was also an avid gardener, planting truck patches every year with her beloved husband for their entire married life.
Peggy is survived by her children, Pamela (Keith) Lindley, Susan (Rex) Warner, Debora (Brian) Wright, Kimberly (Robert) Yeagley, and Jonathan (Jennifer) Stout; grandchildren, Troy (Katie) Lindley, Matthew Lindley, Laura (Heath) Whitehurst, Lyndsay (Chris) Hake, Stephanie (David) Stout, Sara (Jamey) Hiles, Aidan (Janae) Stout, Alec Stout, Adler Stout, and Charlotte Stout; great-grandchildren, Mikayla (Cole) Bering, Mackenzie Whitehurst, Braden Lindley, Parks Lindley, Cruz Lindley, Kadence Stout, Amelia Stout, Connor Hiles, and Emerson Stout; siblings, Lois Stout, and Kirby Moore.
In addition to her husband James, Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Robert McClure, and her step-dad who raised her, Charles Moore.
A funeral service will be held at 12 pm Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Gary Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Kokomo Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10 am until the start of the service on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the funeral home. Natalie "Niki" Nicole Littleton
Natalie "Niki" Nicole Littleton, 53, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was born May 2, 1970 at the Howard Community Hospital in Kokomo, IN to James "Jim" Hupp and Anita Burwell.
Niki graduated from Western High School in 1988. She was a cheerleader and enjoyed track. She loved all animals, especially dogs, just like her dad.
Niki volunteered alongside Rita, for the Pantry at the Howard County women's shelter.
Niki enjoyed card games, puzzles and collecting Boyds bears, but her true passion was grooming and caring for dogs.
In addition to her parents, Niki is survived by her daughter Jamie Littleton; uncle Tim Hupp; and her fiance Darron Tomjack.
Niki is preceded in death by her grandparents Elmer and Kathleen Hupp and Grace Burwell; her three brothers Eric Hupp, Patrick Hupp and Jeremy Daniels.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery alongside her brothers Eric and Patrick.
