Frankie Elnore Golding
Frankie Elnore Golding, age 79, of Peru, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023. Frankie was born in Kokomo, Indiana.
A visitation for Frankie will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary, 725 S. Main Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 1:15 PM at Crown Point Cemetery, 1101 E Sycamore Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901.
Frankie will be laid to rest in Crown Point Cemetery, 1101 E Sycamore Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901.

Elizabeth M. Huffman
Elizabeth M. Huffman, 94, Carmel, formerly of Kokomo, passed away on Sunday July 2, 2023, at 9:55 a.m. at Story Cottage. She was born on March 29, 1929, in Columbus, Indiana. She was the daughter of Pliny and Annetta (Strahl) Poffenberger. On March 1,1953, she married Wilbur Huffman, and he proceeded her in death on October 28, 2017.
Elizabeth was a 1947 graduate of Columbus High school. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer where she taught Sunday school and coordinated funeral dinners. She was a Den mother for the Cub Scouts, a member of Tri Kappa and the Community Garden Club. She also enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Gail (Joe) Dalton of Athens, AL, Bryce (Ellen) Huffman of Huntersville, NC, and Craig (Janine) Huffman of Carmel; grandchildren, Megan (Adam) Gowan of Madison ,AL, Kaitlyn (Jake) Rosen of Madison, AL, Norma (Jeff) Hanson of Charlotte, NC, Jason (Nina) Barnes of Huntersville, NC, Jacob (Amanda) Huffman of Mildenhall RAF Base, United Kingdom, and Rev. Zachary (Jodi) Huffman of Seymour, IN; great-grandchildren, Aidan Gowan, Olivia Gowan, Audrey Gowan, Madilyn Rosen, Sadie Rosen , Hailey Mendez, Vance Barwick, Hannah Barnes, Kiersten Barnes, Isaac Huffman, and Eli Huffman: great-great-grandson, Silas Mendez; step-grandchildren, Meliah, Ian (Rachel), Dainon, and Natalie; sister, Evalena (Dave) Smith; and sister-in-law, Barbara (Dave) O’Brien.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband; brothers, Richard Wayman and Scott Poffenberger and sister, Betty Sweeney.
Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday July 8, 2023, at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 705 E. Southway Blvd, Kokomo, with Pastor Zachary Huffman and Pastor John Dreyer officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00a.m. – 12: 00p.m. at the church. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Shirley and Stout Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Gordon Leon Gray
Gordon Leon Gray, age 83, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Gordon was a truck driver for over 30 years with Collins Moving and storage.
He loved taking things apart and working in his garage. He also enjoyed camping, raising his 8 children and fishing. He was an animal lover and had several animals. Gordon also enjoyed card games, puzzles, listening to Gospel and Country music.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Beth Love, Linda Gray, Gordon Gray, Nancy Peters, Jennell Sagarsee, Leasa Guyer, Phyllis Rhoton, Ronnie Sagarsee; siblings, Garnet Gray, Carolyn VanMeter, Frances Sopher; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Winnie Catherine Gray; brother, Lloyd Wayne Gray; granddaughter, Jessica Cottingham; grandson, Brian Canard.
A public visitation for Gordon will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Following the public visitation will be a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
