Sandra J. Gamblin
Sandra J. Gamblin, age 83, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at St. Vincent Kokomo. She was born to the late Kenneth and Georgia (Porter) Long on September 6, 1939, in Kokomo. Sandra married Duane Bowman, and he preceded her in death on August 3, 1974. She married Timothy Gamblin on July 16, 1977, and he survives.
Sandra was primarily a homemaker, however, she worked as a cook at Northwestern Schools for 17 years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening. Sandra was also a seamstress and made dresses for her granddaughters. Sandra showered much love on her family. Sandra also volunteered at local nursing homes and enjoyed spending time with the residents. She was formerly a member of Judson Baptist Church and currently a member of Morning Star Church. Above all, she loved the Lord with all of her heart.
Surviving is her loving husband of 46 years, Timothy; daughter, Brenda Bowman; son, Jeff (Janis) Bowman; stepdaughter, Lisa Preston; stepson, Timothy Gamblin Jr. (Paulette); 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Smith; brother, Howard (Sue) Long; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death is her first husband, Duane Bowman; and parents-in-law, Claude and Delores Gamblin.
There will be a time of visitation for Sandra on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 P.M. at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, IN, with Rev. LuAnn Young officiating. Burial will follow at North Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sandra to Poplar Grove Church, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home. Pauline O. Eller
Pauline O. Eller, 104 years old, passed into heaven on July 4, 2023. She was born on October 28, 1918, to her parents Charley A. and Faye M. (Brubaker) Eller. She was the second of eight children, she grew up with two sisters and five brothers. She is survived by one brother, Bob Eller, of Forest, IN.
Pauline graduated from Ervin Township High School in 1937. She worked at Delco Electronics for thirty years from 1944-1974 on the radio production line. During that time, she lived with and cared for her mother, Faye, until her passing in 1970. Pauline was just one year shy of being retired for 50 years. During her retirement she took trips with the Delco Travel Club and the families of her brothers and sisters. For many years, Pauline was a member of the Howard Church of the Brethren until it closed, and she became a member of the Kokomo Church of the Brethren. She was always a good judge of character and had great success in her decision making.
Thirteen nieces and nephews are recalling many wonderful times with their Aunt Pauline as they mourn her passing: Donna Kay Johnson (Randy), Howard Eller (Iris), Judy Hiers (Cary), Gary Eller (Paula), Beverly Ramer (Tom), Cindy Beckom (Wayne), Alan Eller, Lynn Powers (Gregg), Larry Eller, Greg Eller (Kandace), Kym Eller, Mike Eller, and Rick Eller. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Preceding her in death are sisters, Catherine Dishon (Harry) and Mary Smith (Samuel); brothers, Harold Eller (Marjorie), David Eller (Jane), Charley Eller Jr. (Marilyn), Richard Eller (Marion); and sister-in-law, Joan Eller.
Pauline cherished her family and helped out all of them when needed. She survived two pandemics and 19 presidents; a life well lived.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Jefferson Manor and Wellbrooke of Kokomo for their loving care of Pauline.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, IN 46979. John Mangus Cullar
John Mangus Cullar, 92, of Kokomo, formerly of North Liberty and South Bend, passed away peacefully 2:10 a.m., Friday June 30, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born in South Bend, IN, on October 29, 1930, the son of the late Fred O. and Ruth (Mangus) Cullar. On October 3, 1952, he married Jane Baltzell, and she survives.
John was a 1948 graduate of North Liberty High School. He earned a Bachelor’s in Agriculture Engineering from Purdue University in 1952. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, where he received an education in electrical engineering, and worked at Bendix in South Bend and Mishawaka, IN from 1952 to 1973, where he worked on brake systems and missiles. John and Jane moved to Kokomo in 1973, and John worked at Delco Electronics as an electrical engineer from 1973 until his retirement in 1993. He was an intelligent and reserved man. He was an avid reader, collected South Bend Watch Company watches, and he was fascinated with anything related to cars. John liked attending tractor shows because of his upbringing on a farm. He enjoyed bird watching, taking long walks, and listening to classical and concert band music. John and his wife enjoyed their winters in Florida after his retirement.
In addition to his wife of 70 years, Jane Cullar, he is survived by his children, Richard (Sandra Weides) Cullar, South Bend, and Ann Massy, Greenwood; grandchildren, Emily (Eurick Kim) Cullar, Schenectady, NY, Elise (Cody Heminger) Cullar, Indianapolis, Nathaniel Massy, Indianapolis, and Nicole Massy, Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ruth Cullar; sister, Joanne Carter; son-in-law, Richard Massy; and several aunts and uncles.

Glen Alan Wilson
Glen Alan Wilson, 85, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:23 am Tuesday July 4, 2023, at Waterford Health Campus in Kokomo. He was born in Kokomo on May 3, 1938, the son of the late John and Henrietta (Sence) Wilson. On July 18, 1981, he married Deloris Kling at Judson Baptist Church, and she survives.
Glen was a 1956 graduate of Northwestern High School. He earned a Bachelor’s in Agronomy from Purdue University. He was a lifelong farmer who worked alongside his brother and his son. He had a strong work ethic and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed ball room dancing, riding his bicycle, and taking fishing trips to Canada. Glen was a Free Mason, a member of the Elks Lodge #190, and a former Exalted Ruler of the Elks. He was a former member of Judson Baptist Church and recently attended Jerome Christian Church. He served as a board member of Northwestern High School, board of directors for the condominium board, and treasurer of North Union Cemetery for 30 years. Glen enjoyed spending his winters in Florida and taking cruises.
In addition to his wife of 40 plus years, Deloris, he is survived by his son, Kent (Dawn) Wilson; stepdaughters, Tracy Brown, Rae (Joe) Maus; siblings, Lois (Joe) Patty, Bill Wilson; grandchildren, Tyler (Lindsey) Wilson, Travis Wilson, Kylee (Andy) Snow, Taylor (Austin) Shepherd, Chelsea (Adam) VanCamp, Ciera (Adam) Vega, Leah Exmeyer; great-grandchildren, Bradyn Wilson, Waylon Wilson, Wyatt Wilson, Tristen Snow, Max Snow, Harper Snow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Henrietta Wilson; and son, Kris Wilson.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, IN 46979. Bryan Jeffrey Dillon
Bryan Jeffrey Dillon, 32, Cutler, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent in Kokomo. He was born in Columbus, OH, on October 1, 1990, the son of Jeffrey and Beth (Cheesman) Dillon. He married Shelby McCann in Scotland, SD on March 28, 2016, and she survives.
Bryan graduated from Big Walnut High School in 2009. He was working in the maintenance department at The Drury Inn in Lafayette.
Along with his wife, Shelby, Bryan is survived by his parents, Jeff & Beth; children, Jaxon and Aria Dillon; grandmother, Jan Agler; aunt, Julie DeWeese; and cousin, Brittany DeWeese.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Agler.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Stout & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
