Bill L. Minniear
Bill L. Minniear, 74, a loving husband, father, brother, grand and great grandfather and dear friend to many passed peacefully at home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2023. Born October 12, 1948 in Tipton, IN to Helen Minniear.
On March 28, 2002 he married Michele D. Mason. Together they shared a life full of love and cherished memories. Together they faced the ups and downs of dealing with cancer treatment. He was willing to keep going with treatment, but it was more harmful now than helpful. Throughout his treatment they worked together supporting each other every step of the way.
Bill was an Army veteran, proudly serving in Vietnam. He retired from GM and Delphi as an electrician. Bill was a perfectionist, dedicated to doing his best at any job.
He was avid at shooting pool, playing golf, bowling, darts and loved the challenge of playing Texas Hold'em tournaments. Always working to improve his skills. Vacations in Las Vegas and Key West were always a treat.
Even after his illness he was determined to start projects on a CNC Router. He researched programs and successfully completed a few of his designs.
He will be loved and missed by his family and ALL who knew him.

Patsy Bottom
Patsy Bottom, an 85-year-old resident of Wellbrooke, passed away on June 9th, 2023, after a lengthy illness.
Patsy was born May 12,1938, in Kokomo, Indiana where she resided throughout her life. She was the daughter of Christine and Arlie Cook who preceded her in death. In 1956, she married Donald Bottom, who also preceded her in death. She has one surviving son, Bill Bottom, and one deceased son, Donald ‘Donnie’ Bottom (2012).
Patsy also leaves behind one cherished grandson, Trent Bottom and two amazing great- grandchildren, Gabe Pickett and Aryana Williams.
She will be so missed by siblings Joyce Clarkson, Arletta Reith, Larry (Joyce) Cook and Peggy Hosea, all of Kokomo, as well many nieces and nephews. Her older brother Benjamin Markley passed away in 2009. She had many treasured friends and was loved by all who cared for her, even by those who entered her life recently.
Patsy attended Northwestern High School and was employed by Delco Electronics. Her most important role, and the one she treasured most was that of mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook and loved nothing better than to ‘whip up a meal’ for family and friends. Her shopping trips were legend with early morning expeditions providing entertainment as well as a month’s supply of groceries. These were supplemented by near-daily trips to the grocery to ‘pick up something she forgot’. She loved to shop for herself and for others. Patsy had a deep and abiding faith and attended church regularly as she was able. Listening to Bible teaching and gospel music brought her joy.
She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling throughout the US especially to Gulf Shores and going on her annual trip to Branson with the ‘girls’. She never failed to come back from one of their escapades with new tales for us to laugh about. Constantly surrounded by family and friends in these last days, Patsy’s final venture to her long-awaited Heavenly home is now complete.
The family would like to thank the staff of both Wellbrooke of Kokomo and Southern Care Hospice for the outstanding care and attention that she received. At Patsy’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service, but she will be remembered for her kindness and goodness and the love she shared with us all. If desired, donations in Patsy’s honor may be sent to Howard Haven (3600 W Boulevard, Kokomo, IN 46902). Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Kokomo.
