Carl Fink
Carl Fink, age 89, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Waterford Place Health Campus. He was born on June 1, 1934 to the late Walter and Elsie Lena (Schmidt) Fink in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Carl served his country in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1959. He began his career in insurance by selling insurance door to door in his younger years. He worked for Commonwealth Insurance, working his way up to becoming manager, district manager, and eventually the regional manager overseeing the Kokomo, Lafayette, and Fort Wayne areas. Carl broke every sales record at the company at that time. After retiring from Commonwealth Insurance, he started his own insurance agency, C. Fink Insurance Agency in 2008. He retired his agency in 2021.
Surviving is his loving companion, Reda Frances, along with his three children, Brian (Anita) Fink, Gregory (Sheila) Fink, Shelley (Bobby) Alexander; grandchildren, Christopher (Rebecca), Lindsey (Jose), Allison, Melanie, Christine (Duane), and Tyler (Alexis); and many great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and granddaughter, Shelby Fink.
There will be time of visitation on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 P.M. at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis with full military rites performed by the United States Navy. Jane Ann Overholser
Jane Ann Overholser, age 85, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Jane was born May 17, 1938 to Harry and Lois Golladay who preceded her in death.
Jane was born in Tipton County, Indiana, and went on to graduate High School in Sharpsville Indiana. After graduating High school, she married William Overholser who survives. Primarily, Jane was a homemaker but loved to help out at nursing homes services. If she had time to stay home, she loved to garden, but most of all loved her time spent at First Salem Baptist Church. She was also the organist and the janitor for many years at said church. Presently, she attended the New Life Church in Kokomo. When Jane was able, she loved nothing more than to travel, sometimes even taking the grandkids along.
Jane is survived by her husband William Overholser; sister Mary McCauley; brother Thomas Joe Golladay; son Mahlon Jay Overholser (Christy); daughter Jody Crow (Richard); grandchildren David Hinkle (Sybil), Joshua Hinkle (Sherry), Natasha Everling (Michael), Stephanie Overholser, Deborah Atwood (Chris), Brittany Sinning (Grant), Richard Crow Jr. (Katie); 17 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; sister Vera Ruth Golladay; brother-in-law Rev. James McCauley; and niece Debra McCauley-Juliano.
Services and visitation will be June 7th, 2023 at Ellers Mortuary on Webster Street 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, IN. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM, and services begin at 1:00 PM officiated by Reverend Christopher Atwood and Reverend Aaron McCauley with a burial at Albright Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the New Life Church in Kokomo, Indiana.
