Richard L. “Rick” Clark
Richard L. “Rick” Clark, 65, Greentown, passed away at 3:05 am Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Century Villa Health Care in Greentown. After a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born April 5, 1958, in Warsaw, IN, the son of the late Richard E. & Neva J. (Timbers) Clark.
Rick was a graduate of Whitko High School in Pierceton, IN. He served with the United States Air Force. He worked for Seymour Midwest, Loomis Armored and built furniture in Kosciusko County. Rick was a huge fan of RC Cars and at one time had about 40 of them. He was a collector of swords, guns, matchbox cars and action figures. He enjoyed an eclectic collection of movies and music, especially Rock & Roll and Oldies. He loved spending time outdoors. He had a sense of humor and was known to be a jokester.
Rick is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Adam) Yoder; grandchildren, Taylor, Tori and Tessa Yoder; siblings, Mary (Joe) Seagrave, Jeff Clark and Dan Clark; niece and nephew, Sasha Clingenpeel and Chris Clingenpeel.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 26, 2023, at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main Street, Greentown. Friends are invited to visit with the family from Noon until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10:00 am Tuesday in Marion National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
Eddie Gene Minnich
Eddie Gene Minnich, 93, Greentown, passed away at 2:16 am Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. He was born January 27, 1930, in New Goshen, IN, the son of the late Edgar & Thora (Cabbage) Minnich. On September 4, 1949, at Macedonia Christian Church, he married Wynemah “Nema” H. Hardie who preceded him in death on February 19, 2023.
Eddie was a 1949 graduate of Jackson High School in Greentown. He retired as a foreman from Chrysler after 25 years of service. He had also worked for Stellite as a machinist. He enjoyed carpentry and was a skilled woodworker. He also enjoyed farming with both his father-in-law and brother-in-law. Eddies other hobbies included snowmobiling, fishing, boating, camping, golfing and he was a champion horseshoe player. Eddie and Nema wintered in Florida for several years. He was his sweetheart Nema’s caregiver for many years, she was his true love, and continued to care for her even after the loss of his leg.
Eddie is survived by his children, Gary (Pamela) Minnich, and Dan (Vicky) Minnich; grandchildren, Nancy (Darren) Campbell, Amy (Andy) Bautz, Tamara (Tracy) Melton, and Danielle (Richard) Schultz; great-grandchildren, Kevin Campbell, Tucker Campbell, Awan Bautz, Zadyn Bautz, Tadios Bautz, Samiah Bautz, Eden Bautz, Jared Melton, Caleb Melton, Kolten Melton, Kenley Melton, Jasmine (Rick) Van Dyke, Trenton Schultz, Jordan Schultz, and Peyton Schultz; great-great granddaughter, Luna Van Dyke; brother, Raymond (Clara) Minnich, along with several nieces and nephews.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Nila Rust, Eileen Hill, Luada Eddington and Rosemary Neal.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 25, at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main Street, Greentown, with his grandson, Darren Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown. Friends are invited to visit with the family from Noon until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
