Lisa Diane Vaughn
Lisa Diane Vaughn, 56, Logansport, passed away at 7:05 am Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. She was born January 30, 1967 in Kokomo, the daughter of Richard L. Vaughn and Sarah (Young) Wagener.
Lisa was a 1986 graduate of Kokomo High School. She had worked at Burger King for nearly 10 years. Lisa enjoyed crocheting, word searches and puzzle books, and her mountain dew. She enjoyed life, especially with her grandchildren, Ray and Bella.
Lisa is survived by her daughters, Laura (Keona Fisher) Vaughn, and Rachael Vaughn; grandchildren, Bella and Ray; sister, Laura (Michael) Helton; mother, Sarah (Kenneth) Wagener; step-sisters, Sheila and Tondra; along with several additional grandchildren.
Lisa was preceded in death by her step-mom, Carolyn Cambron; grandparents, John and Maimi Young; and twin daughters, Katherine and Karen.

Charles Lee Goley, Sr.
Charles Lee Goley, Sr., 87, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on March 11, 2023. He was born on January 23, 1936 in Kentucky the son of Leland and Mae Goley. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. He loved fast cars and his family. Charles retired from Haynes International after 30 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Charles Goley Jr., Pamela Holt, Gene (Betty) Goley, Mark (Kristi) Goley; grandchildren, Brittany Holt, Joshua Holt, Nathan Goley, Abby White, Tiffany Goley, Erin Goley; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Everett, Raelynn, Arionnah, Brody; siblings, Junior and Ray.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Nettie.
Visitation will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 3400 S. William "Bill" Virgil Dowden
William "Bill" Virgil Dowden, age 79, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023. He was born September 20, 1943 to Virgil and Lola Dowden. He was a graduate of Frankfort High School, class of 1962. He enlisted in the Marine Corp upon graduating, where he served in Vietnam. He married Marybeth Branam December 21, 1963 in Frankfort, Indiana. He worked for Delco Electronics in skilled trades, retiring after 32 years. He loved being home with his wife, playing on the computer and watching Indiana sporting events on TV. Bill was one of the founders of the 24 Hour club, a home for 12 step programs in Kokomo. He was active in the recovery community since 1986 until his death. He will be remembered for sharing his love of gaming and his wonderful sense of humor.
Bill is survived by his wife, Marybeth; his children, Melissa (Tim) Maroney, Marcia Dowden, Melinda (Paul) Chesterson and Mark (Rachel) Dowden; grandchildren, Austin Maroney, Meghan Maroney, Amber (Julian) Jester, Chase (Maggie) Johnson, Bailey Johnson, Tim (Ceres) Chesterson. Julia (Tyler) Kessler, Shania (Joe) Harkins, Rebecca Dowden, Mark Dowden, Jr., Connor Dowden, Anthony Dowden and Steven Jordan; as well as 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 siblings, a son, and a grandson.
A memorial gathering will take place Thursday, March 23 from 3pm to 6pm, at Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo, with a funeral service beginning at 6pm.

Robert Harvey Plummer
Robert Harvey Plummer, 70, passed on March 10, 2023, at 12:10 pm at Brickyard Healthcare - Sycamore Village Care Center, Kokomo, Indiana. Robert was born in Kokomo, Indiana on September 10, 1952 the fourth child and only son to Harvey Sylvester Plummer and Viola Ruth (Jones) Plummer.
Robert graduated from Eastern High School, Greentown, Indiana in 1970. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army from 1970-1972.
He married his first wife Glenda Purvis, in 1971. Of that marriage they had two children, Michelle Renee’ (Plummer) Grepke and Michael David Plummer. In 1999 he married his present wife, Wendellyn Gae (Dougan) Plummer,
Robert was a member of the Galveston, Indiana, American Legion and retired member of U.A.W. Local 1166, Kokomo, Indiana.
Robert retired from the Kokomo Casting Plant in 2019 as a Tool Crib Attendant, after 38 years of service. Robert also worked at Cuneo Press, Kokomo from 1970-1978, Haynes International, Kokomo, from 1981-1987, and Construction from 1980-1984.
He loved to ride his Harley Davidson, his pride and joy when he was able and most of all he loved Isabelle, his Sheltie, diabetic support dog, she passed in 2020.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his three sisters, Judy Rose (Plummer) Neal, Boyd, Shirley Kay (Plummer) Spencer and Rita Joyce (Plummer) Mullins, and a nephew Benjamin Mullins of Rose Bud, Arkansas.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Wendellyn (Dougan) Plummer, a daughter, Michelle Renee’ (Plummer) Grepke, her husband Heath of Greenwood, Indiana, a son, Michael David Plummer and his wife Jane, of Kokomo, Indiana. Five grandchildren, Kierstyn, Grepke, Kristopher Grepke and wife, Audrey, Johnathon Plummer, Shanyah Plummer and Logan Plummer, and a great-grandson, Lewis Painter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Eric Tuchscherer and Dr. David Cheesman of Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, Indiana along with all the medical staff at Brickyard Healthcare - Sycamore Village Care Center in Kokomo, Indiana. To Daniel, you were the best roommate a guy could have. And a very special thank you goes to Gentivia Hospice Care Group. Chrissey and Bridgett you will never be forgotten for the wonderful care you gave our husband and father. Our final thanks go to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory for their care of Bob.
At his request, no services will be held and he has chosen to be cremated. He has asked to have his ashes along with his beloved Isabelle to be spread at an undisclosed location. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
