Margaret Ann Regnier
Margaret Ann Regnier, 94, of Tipton, died peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Margaret was born to Everett and Elizabeth (Belzer) Peters on June 20, 1930, in Atlanta, Indiana. She married Richard O. “Dick” Regnier, on June 19, 1954, and he predeceased Margaret on November 9, 2004. Dick and Margaret were preceded in death by an infant son James A. Regnier in 1958. Margaret was also predeceased by two brothers Teddy and Donny Peters, who both died as infants.
Margaret is survived by a brother Stephen Peters and wife Linda of Tipton, a nephew Grant Peters of California, and niece Amber Peters of Tipton, two brothers-in-law Jan Regnier and wife Rosa Maria of Tucson, Arizona, and Michael Regnier and wife Juliette of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, three children Risa Ann Regnier of Tipton, Mark R. Regnier and wife Tracy of Tipton, and David B. Regnier and wife Lori of Tipton. Margaret had seven grandchildren Ian Ragains and wife Jalyn of Noblesville, Connor Ragains and wife Taylor of Elwood, Chelsea (Ragains) Baker and husband Tim of McCordsville, Austin Hoback of Tipton, Alyssa (Hoback) Kahn of St. Joseph, Michigan, Richard Tyler Regnier of New Haven, Connecticut, and Kathryn H. Regnier of Reston, Virginia, three great grandchildren Callaway Edward Baker, Wells Timothy Baker, Alex Smith, and several other nieces and nephews.
Margaret graduated from Tipton High School in 1948 and then attended college at Butler University in Indianapolis. Margaret was a homemaker, and she and Dick were active in Republican politics all of their adult lives. Margaret was a member of Kemp United Methodist Church, a 75-year member of the local chapter of Phi Beta Psi Sorority, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends in Brown County.
Visitation will be held at Young-Nichols Funeral Home on Saturday, March 8, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Heather Holman officiating. The funeral service will begin with a memorial service presented by Phi Beta Psi. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

David Leon Bowers
On March 2, 2025, David Leon Bowers won his battle with peace and passed on to Heaven.
He is survived by his wife Shirley J. Bowers, daughters Dawn M. (Roger) Wilson and Dusty (Tim) Cain, grandchildren Hunter Cain, Jayce Cain, Allie Bowers, Kendra Wilson, Ashawna (Brooke) Thurston, and Natalie (Stephan) Jonas, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, brothers Jerry Bowers and Jeff (Kim) Bowers, sister Teresa Bowers and her son Ryan, roommate and "brother from another mother" Tom Hightower, and many nieces and nephews.
He was welcomed with open arms by his father and mother Gerald and Mary Bowers, brothers Timmy J. and Timothy Dwayne Bowers, and in-laws Jack and Shirley Seaton. After a long fight with cancer, he has finally found his serenity and is pain free.
David lived life to make other people smile and laugh. He was always willing to lend a hand or a comment to bring laughter. He lived life to the fullest.

Dustin Matthew Younts
October 12, 1973 - February 1, 2025
Dustin M. Younts, 51, of Newport Beach, California, passed away February 1, 2025. He was born October 12, 1973, to Dennis and Barbara Younts in Kokomo, Indiana. Dustin attended Northwestern High School and graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington. He married Candie Croyts, and they have one son, Jace. Both Candie and Jace survive. Dustin is further survived by his loving parents Dennis and Barbara Younts, Kokomo, IN, sister Regina (Shannon) Heagy of Zionsville, IN, two brothers Jentry (Lisa) Younts of Lebanon, IN, and Mitchell Younts of Young America, IN, 14 nieces and nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was self-employed. Dustin had an adventurous spirit. He loved California and enjoyed going to the beach, boating, skiing, surfing, camping, and working on cars. He will be deeply missed by friends and family. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date

Billy Ray Powell, age 74, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025.
