Ina L. Bragg
Ina L. Bragg, age 89, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. Ina was born in Macon County, Illinois to Arthur and Esther (Meeks) Rice on July 21, 1934. She served four years in the Navy before marrying Richard Bragg on June 23, 1968. She had two daughters, Margaret Stephens and Ianth Moore.
Mom loved driving a bus for church. She always looked for ways to help others. To Mom, no one was ever a stranger. She loved to crochet and was always looking for someone to give the projects to after they were finished. She loved to do things with her family, and she loved the outdoors.
While living in the nursing home these past few years, she would crochet a blanket, or shawl, or hats and scarves, then give them to the nurses, aides, or residents. Every time a new person would move into the home, she would make it a point to meet them and then invite them to come to the chapel services on Wednesday. She loved to tell people about God's love for them.
Ina is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Keith) Stephens and Iantha (Mike) Moore; sister, Fae (Gene) Hollembeak, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bragg; parents, Arthur and Esther Rice; brother, Cecil Rice, Jr.; and nephew, Lee Hollembeak. She will be greatly missed, but we will see her again.
Visitation for Ina will be Friday, March 8, 2024, from 10-11am, with a funeral service at 11am, at Sunset Memory Garden, 2097 W. Alto Rd., Kokomo, 46902.
