Tola Lucille (Miller) Enyart
Tola Lucille (Miller) Enyart, 88, Kokomo, passed away at 9:41 am, on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born is Missouri, on September 14, 1934, to the late Carl and Ruby (Bristow) Miller.
Tola attended Kokomo High School. She worked at Mentone Egg and W.C. Redmon Company. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and fishing.
Tola is survived by her children, Nathan (Laura Ann) Enyart, Charlie (Rosie) Enyart, and Anna Marie Enyart; grandchildren, John Enyart, Parker Enyart, Alicyn (Zack) Carter, Arron Enyart, Amanda McGowan, Lucky Florian, and Faith Cobb; great grandchildren, Megelle Enyart, and Ravyn McGowan; brothers, Wendell Miller and Dave Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tabbetha Rose Cobb, and Ruby Lyle; grandson, Adam Jacob Enyart; sister, Harriet Pinkerton; and brothers, Jim Miller and George Miller.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Richard Wrightsman officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from noon to 1:30 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Aleta Marie Conyers
Aleta Marie Conyers, 77, of Kokomo, went to be with the Lord at 7:02 pm Tuesday March 7, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born in Kokomo on January 14, 1946, the daughter of the late Cleo and Gloria (Fowler) Riggen. On June 27, 1964, she married Herschel Conyers at Calvary Temple Church in Kokomo, and he survives.
Aleta was a lifetime homemaker who took the best care of her husband and raising her sons. She often took on the role of caretaker of other family members and neighbors. She absolutely adored being a grandma and great grandma also. In her youth, she competed in roller skating. Aleta was a crafty woman who was skilled in making homemade jewelry and ornaments. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she always went above and beyond decorating and baking. She was a devout member of Honeycreek Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an active member of the lady’s club. She had a strong relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Herschel Conyers; children, Robert (Jenny) Conyers, David Conyers, Joe (Suzy) Conyers; grandchildren, Zach Conyers, Grace Conyers, Andrew Conyers, Emily Conyers, Shelby Conyers, Wyatt Conyers, Bailey (Jordan) Brown, Maddie (Justin) Berry; great-grandchildren, Sophia Greene, Blaze George, Daxton Brown, Trett Brown, Myles Berry, Joseph Lee Conyers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Gloria Riggen.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday March 14, 2023, at Honeycreek Missionary Baptist Church, 250 North Nashville Street, Russiaville, IN 46979. Funeral service will begin 1 pm on Tuesday at the church, with Pastor Jim Stevenson officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Aleta’s memory to Honeycreek Missionary Baptist Church. Stout & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Delores Marie Cunningham
Delores Marie Cunningham, 80, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on March 6, 2023. She was born on November 4, 1942 in Frankfort, Indiana the daughter of Ray E. and Mary Maxine (Rude) Akers. She worked at Delco and Kokomo High School Cafeteria.
Delores enjoyed spending time with friends, reading her bible, theater, and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Maxine Akers; step-father, Leslie Myers; sister, Jane E. Scott; grandson, Joshua A. Ebenhart.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gary D. (the late, Ana) Cunningham Jr., Michael C. (Ella) Cunningham, Deborah L. (Mark) Ebenhart; grandchildren, Alexis R. Boller, Briana L. Ebenhart, Michael C. Cunningham II, Mark A. Cunningham; great-grandchildren, Abigail G. Ebenhart, Otto J. Chelednik, Jett J. Broens, Maverick W. Broens, Bailey and Preston Ebenhart.

Scott Alan Martin
Scott Alan Martin, 62, Kokomo, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at his home. He was born in Tipton on March 3, 1961, to the late Dwight E. “Bud” and Delores E. “Dee” (Pickett) Martin. On November 4, 2004, at the Windfall Church of Brethren, he married Lauri L. Grant, and she survives.
Scott graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 1979. He enlisted with the United States Army from 1979 to 1991 and earned the rank of Sergeant. After the Army he began working for Hook’s Drug Store and then went onto General Motors, and was currently working as a IT technician for DXC Technologies for Borg Warner. Scott was a lifetime member VFW 1152 and served as a Quarter Master, the AMVETS, and the Legion Post 6. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and bowling. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.
Scott is survived by his wife; son, Joe (Kristina) Button; step daughter, Jeannie (Dustin) Hoover; step-son, Leon Snyder; grandchildren, Carla Button, Sierra Button, Emily Button, and Daisey Button; step grandchildren, Travis Hoover, and Lillie Button; great grandchildren, Braxton Benson, Nova Benson, Zayden Brooks-Timmons, and Ransom Button; siblings, David Eugene Martin, Brian Keith Martin (Susan Elaine), Marla Kay (Blaine) Martin-Conwell, Lisa Marie Martin-Zinsmaster, and Kelly Lee Martin; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Brett Eric Martin.
A funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Jason Grant officiating. The funeral will begin with military honors provided by the US Army and the Kokomo V.F.W. Military Rites Team. Friends may visit with the family from 4 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Marion National Cemetery on Thursday, March 16th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses. George Robert Stevenson
George Robert Stevenson was born on June 30, 1935, in Brentwood, TN to his parents Rev. Robert Samuel Stevenson and Mamie Bryant. He was married to Willie F Stevenson (deceased), to which 2 daughters were born Debbie Stevenson and Alexia Edmundson (deceased).
George was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Robert S Stevenson and Mamie Bryant, daughter Alexia Edmundson (James L Edmundson Sr), son Tommy L Bender (Wilda), brothers Uriah Farmer, Willie Stevenson (Naomi), James W Stevenson, Thomas Stevenson, brother-in-law David Burton, son-in-law Percy Carr, and son-in-law Danny R Toliver.
George leaves to cherish his memories of daughters Debbie Stevenson (Kokomo), Dallas Carr (St. Louis, MO), son John C Bender (Loretta) (Kokomo), sisters Willodean Burton (Cedar Hill, TN), Fannie Boone (Nashville, TN), brother Michael Stevenson (Phyllis) (Russellville, KY), sister-in-law Jan Stevenson (Cedar Hill, TN), sister-in-law Dorothy Stevenson (Kokomo), sister-in-law Mamie Farmer (Nashville, TN), grandchildren LaTessa Gross (Cameron), Farris Edmundson, Jessica Toliver and James L Edmundson Jr., great-grandchildren LaDanian Talbert, Xiamora Morgan, Alexa Gross, James Gunn IV, Jesiah Gunn, and MyKelti Gross and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
George confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and later moved to Kokomo where he joined Second Missionary Baptist Church as a deacon and a choir member. George loved listening to gospel music as well as cooking and baking.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2023, at Second Missionary Baptist Church 819 North Apperson Way, Kokomo, IN 46901. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, IN 46902. Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2023, at Second Missionary Baptist Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Second Missionary Baptist Church, 819 North Apperson Way, Kokomo, IN 46901.

Denise Michelle Hacker
Denise Michelle Hacker, 60, Kokomo, passed away at 8:13 pm on Thursday March 2, 2023, Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Sioux Falls, SD., on June 28, 1962. She married Michael Keith Hacker, and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2022.
Denise took pride in her home and cherished her husband; he was her life.
Denise is survived by her children, Jeremy (Sarah) Hughes, Harley, Carla May, Rose Johnson, and Scarlette Bravo; grandchildren, Andrew Johnson, Rylee Hughes, and Brooklyn Hughes; step daughter, Andrea Owens; and step grandson, Mason Thomas.
