Duncan/Naomi McNew
Duncan/Naomi McNew laid their weary head to rest on October 30, 2023.
They/them were preceded to their peace by their beloved Grandma D, Wanda Elaine Wheeler, Grandparents Elizabeth and Randall Coffey, aunt Cinda Canchola, uncle Johnny Jones, and cousin Clay Jones.
They were loved and supported in life by parents Brian and Amy McNew of Kokomo, sister Patience McNew and Brayden Sherrod of Kokomo, brother Kaleb McKee and Amber Mckee of Lafayette and niece and nephews Emma, Ashton, and Kayden, and his Grandfather Roger A. Wheeler of Indianapolis, and “Grandma” Aunt Vickie Mitchell of Concord, Arkansas. Beloved aunts and uncles who also loved and encouraged Duncan/Naomi were Amanda and Gabriel Basurto of Branson, Missouri, Carl McNew of Des Moines, IA, Liana Jones of Adolphus, Ky, and Michelle and John Grenier of Lewisville, In. Not to mention, a plethora of much loved and supportive cousins, great aunts and uncles, and other family and friends.
Duncan/Naomi was a committed and avid gamer. They were also a magically talented artist and graphic designer, creating unbelievable beauty from the age of 5. They had a penchant for the cheesiest of “B” movies, musicals, and show tunes. And it must be said, a lifelong, totally devoted Star Wars fan. They also were a whiz at impressions, and a rock star at one-liners. Duncan/Naomi loved their pets as if they were siblings. They enjoyed their weekend breakfast tradition with Dad, and shopping, manicure, lunch trips with Mom. They loved their job at Disc Replay, the perfect place for them. They will be missed immensely by all who loved them so dearly.

A visitation for Duncan/Naomi will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a celebration of life at 4:00 PM.

Bonnie Jean Bugher
Bonnie Jean Bugher, 95, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on October 28, 2023. She was born on September 13, 1928, in Flora, Indiana, the daughter of Russell and MaDella (Wilcox) Newbold. Bonnie retired from Delco after 24 years of employment.
She was an avid Indiana Pacers fan and loved watching their games. She also enjoyed word searches, gardening, jumbles, and most of all spending time with her family. She was also a great seamstress and will be remembered for her amazing cooking skills.
Left to cherish her memory daughters, Linda (The Late, Mike) Hyman, Jane Malinowski, Cathy (Dennis) Pace, Lori Schrimshear; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie (Judy) Newbold; her favorite fur babies Maggie and PeeWee.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 61 years, John Bugher; grandchild, James Roger Schrimshear II; siblings, Bob Newbold, Joanne Presley, Earl Newbold.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2023, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2023, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Kathie Ann Hill
Kathie Ann Hill, age 71, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023.
A memorial gathering for Kathie will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary, 725 S. Main Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901.

Michael Lee "Mike" McCollum
Michael Lee "Mike" McCollum, 78, Kokomo, passed away at 4:35 pm Saturday, October 28, 2023, at his home. He was born May 15, 1945, in Lima, Ohio, the son of the late Richard J. & Anna E. (Schwarck) McCollum. On October 10, 2010, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo, he married Connie Grover (Blaylock) who survives.
Mike was a 1963 graduate of Kokomo High School. He went on to earn his associate degree from Indiana University. He retired from Chrysler Corp after 30 years of service as a 2nd shift Operations Manager for the Casting Plant. He was a member of One Church. He loved NASCAR #39, bowling, golfing and working Sudoku puzzles. He had a passion for animals, animal rescue and horses, especially his favorite, Secretariat, which he knew every detail about. Mike was a huge movie buff, especially for John Wayne, and enjoyed embarrassing his daughter with slapstick comedy.
Mike was a devoted husband and protective of his little sister, Pam. He loved his wife Connie dearly and had a heart of gold. When he met Connie, he came to love dancing and his favorite dance was the East Coast Swing.
Along with his wife Connie, Mike is also survived by his children, Michael Edward McCollum and Deidre (Jack) Johnson; grandson, Stephen Michael (Michelle) Berlanga; granddaughter, Alyssa (Nolan) Botsko; great-grandchildren, Christopher McCollum, step-granddaughter, Joelie Blaylock; stepsons, Joe T. (Linda) Blaylock II and Josh D. (Brian Chen) Blaylock; sister, Pam (John) Nicholas, nephew Josh and niece Whitney Nicholas; brother, Rick (Linda) McCollum; niece, Abbee (Michael) Summers; step-niece, Andrea Branscomb; step-nephew, Tyler Murphy.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John (Sue) McCollum; nieces, Courtney Nicholas and Aimee McCollum Romero.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, November 9, 2023, at One Church, 2734 S. Washington Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Stan Zurcher officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1-3 pm Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Mike's memory to One Church or Pals for Paws. Rachael Christine Adams
Rachael Christine Adams, 39, of Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at home. She was born in Kokomo on August 20, 1984, the daughter of Clara L. (Adams) Idle.
Rachael worked at Chrysler as an assembler. She enjoyed playing guitar, writing, and was an artist. She also had an interest in welding.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Clara and Kavin Idle; brothers, Jade Adams and Christopher Idle; nieces, Percy Idle, Helen Idle, and Bella Adams; grandparents, Steve and Carol Adams; uncle, Steve Adams; and aunt, Tina (Mike) Craft.
