Good morning! We hope you all enjoyed the April Fools festivities that took place across the Internet yesterday, and we’d like to thank the City of Kokomo for an excellent prank involving 1987’s “Terror Squad.” It was very well done.
And it gave us an idea.
The Kokomo Lantern wants to hold a “Terror Squad” reunion of sorts. If you were involved in the movie when it filmed in Kokomo 35 years ago, please contact us. If you know someone who had a part, make the connection for us. We want to hear your stories and share them with the rest of the community.
And this request isn’t limited to those who actually were in the film. If you have a strong connection to “Terror Squad” and feel you have something to share, we want to hear from you, too. Maybe one of your relatives who has since passed was involved. Maybe you have an odd bit of memorabilia or photos from that time. Reach out to us.
Our intent is to reconstruct the history around the filming, collect accounts of the event, and put together a multimedia documentary of sorts with video and written content. If that sounds like fun to you, please get involved.
You can contact us via Facebook Messenger. You can email us at kokomolantern@gmail.com or if all else fails, reply to this post so we can reach out to you.
However you do it, your participation will make this little dream come true. Thanks for reading the Kokomo Lantern!
