Kokomo’s newest event venue, Rhine Hall, rang in the new year with some good old rhythm and blues. A capacity crowd gathered to listen to live music, enjoy some food and drink, and celebrate as 2024 arrived.
The evening started with dinner from Wolfe’s Smokehouse and BBQ while comedian Dan West warmed up the crowd. The partygoers began donning their New Year’s glasses, hats, and other celebratory costume pieces, and some snapped photos with a festive background in the lobby.
Mike Milligan and Steam Shovel closed out their 30th anniversary season with an inspired set, prompting people to hit the dance floor as their unique sound rolled around Rhine Hall. The evening closed with headliner Duke Tumatoe and the Power Trio, playing their signature songs along with some storied classics.
The evening culminated with a toast at midnight and shuttle service home for those who enjoyed the event a bit more than anticipated.
Rhine Hall Entertainment and Event Venue is located at 507 N. Union St. For additional information, visit www.rhinehallevents.com or the Rhine Hall Facebook page.
