Scouts BSA will hold Howard County Community Sign Up nights on Tue., Sept. 5, and Thu., Sept. 7, from 6-8 p.m. at Inventrek Technology Park, 700 E. Firmin St., and at the Kokomo Scout BSA office, 518 N. Main St.
According to Sagamore Council’s Peshewa District Membership Chair Marie Harvath, those interested in Cub Scouts, grades K-5, and Scout BSA, grades 6-12, are eligible to sign up.
Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA are year-round programs for boys and girls in kindergarten through high school that provide fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves. Scouts go places, test themselves, and have one-of-a-kind adventures that can’t be found anywhere else, all while serving their community and learning to “Be Prepared” and “Do Your Best.”
Also, there will be representatives from Scouts BSA Peshewa District at Markland Mall on Sat., Sept. 9, signing up interested individuals from 2-8 p.m.
If those interested can’t attend the Community Sign Up sessions, they can go to the Scouts BSA Kokomo Sagamore Council office, 518 North Main St., and sign up there whenever they are open. For more information about the Scouts BSA Community Sign up call 765-452-8253 or go to beascout.org.
