Solidarity brings a circus to a Halloween party
Peru amateurs help credit union pull off day of fun and festivities
This article is brought to you by Bob Stephenson for City Council District 2. Bob says, “Our city's election is Nov. 7, just two weeks away. It is your opportunity to bring balance back to local government. Our city is made up of people of all races, religions, and beliefs. You deserve equal representation. You deserve transparent government that works for you and listens to you. On Nov. 7, vote for me, Bob Stephenson, for Kokomo Common Council District 2, bringing back your voice in local government.”
The parking lot outside of Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union was filled with the sights and sounds of a circus on Oct. 21. In reality, it was a Halloween party. That’s right. Even the party had a Halloween costume.
The Solidarity Kids Community Halloween Party and Circus Extravaganza had people lining up, filled with excitement as they waited for the event to begin. As the party ramped up, kids competed in games of skill like ring tossing and popping balloons.
Some of the kids took advantage of the bounce house and inflatable obstacle course, while others visited the petting zoo, which featured miniature ponies. And for those who needed a mask or just a fun highlight, there was face painting.
Solidarity was helped with its celebration by the Peru Amateur Circus Road Show. Jugglers, a “lion tamer,” and other performers wandered through the crowd, showing off their talents.
