Turning Point SOC is partnering with local non-profit organization, Tyler's Triumph, and Harley Davidson of Kokomo to host the annual "Ride of Hope."
Ride of Hope is a fundraising event that will take place Saturday, Aug. 27, at Kokomo Harley Davidson, registration begins at 10 a.m. The cost to ride is $30 plus $10 per passenger, which includes a free event t-shirt, a meal, and access to the after-ride event.
Following the ride there will be food, a beer garden available to those 21 and up, and live music from Mike Milligan and Steam Shovel. There is a $20 admission fee for those who are not participating in the ride but want to enjoy the after-ride event starting at 4 p.m.
Turning Point SOC is a navigation resource center in Kokomo, IN for those struggling with substance use disorders or suffering from mental health illnesses. All proceeds from the event will go toward funding Turning Point SOC and the help they offer to those in recovery.

Turning Point receives $25,000 Duke Energy grant
Turning Point SOC is a non-profit organization that offers services in Howard County to support those who are struggling with addiction and mental health. Turning Point helps navigate clients to get the help and support they need with many great offered resources, including the Recovery Café, one-on-one peer coaching, and group therapy.
Turning Point would like to acknowledge Duke Energy for a $25,000 grant that has been awarded to help support the organization through workforce development to invest in technology. The technology purchased with this Duke Energy Grant is for helping Recoveries scale up for jobs, build resumes, educational knowledge through Relias, and iob searching. We are grateful for the opportunity to benefit our community and appreciate the generosity of Duke Energy and their investment in Howard County.
