Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week fundraiser
Coordinated Assistance Ministries will commemorate Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week Nov. 14-18 with a week-long 5K fundraiser. Each day, a runner will complete a 5K run in honor of a segment of the homeless population. The community can sponsor the runner each day, with proceeds assisting in CAM’s operations and its Believe Capital Campaign. The event will begin each day with a prayer at noon on the CAM Hope Facebook page. The runner will complete a 5K for families on Nov. 14, youth and young adults on Nov. 15, individuals in recovery on Nov. 16, children on Nov. 17, and veterans on Nov. 18. Donate in support of the population of your choice. The Community Foundation of Howard County will match all donations. AN open house will be held at CAM, 625 N.
