Sunday in the Park Car Show
The Kokomo Automotive Museum will hold its Summer in the Park Car Show, on Sun., July 20, until 3 p.m. in Highland Park. There will be a DJ, door prizes, and food vendors, along with plenty of shade.

Hand Up Pantry
The Center Township Trustee’s Office has opened its Hand Up Food Pantry at the township office, 213 E. Jefferson St. The pantry is open every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9-11 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m. The goal is to serve those experiencing food insecurity. Participants must make an appointment by calling 765-452-8259. A photo ID or proof of address is required.
New Baby Bunch
Do you have a new bundle of joy? Or do you feel like you’re in the trenches of parenting? Join the New Baby Bunch for friendship, support, and to share your parenting journey with other caregivers. The group meets each Monday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Kokomo Howard County Public Library’s south branch, 1755 E. Center Road. The next meeting is Mon., July 21. Caregivers with a baby ages birth to 12 months are welcome to participate. Older siblings are welcome to join also.
Meditation Mondays
Experience change, growth, and vitality through meditation with Raine and Sage Healing Center, 901 S. Courtland Ave. Sessions take place every first and third Monday of the month from 10-10:45 a.m. and are free to all. The next session takes place on Mon., July 21.
Dinosaur Explorers
Explore the exciting world of dinosaurs with the Kokomo Howard County Public Library on Mon., July 21, from 10-11 a.m. Kids of all ages are invited to visit the library’s Russiaville branch, 315 Mesa Dr., to engage in hands-on activity and interactive games.
Reach Youth Summer Program
Looking for a summer program for the kids while they’re out of school? Turning Point will offer a Reach Youth program, Monday through Friday, through July 25 at its Reach Youth Office, 216 W. Walnut St. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. each day, kids will experience educational trips, sports and recreation, social enrichment, arts and crafts, relationship building, and free lunch. Sew Much
Teens and adults can drop in to learn sewing or quilting basics or get help with their projects at the Kokomo Howard County Public Library’s Sew Much event on Mon., July 21, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sewing machines provided. Recovery Café
Turning Point – A System of Care offers the Recovery Café, a time to connect with love, show respect, cultivate compassion, practice forgiveness, encourage growth, and to give something back. Pop-Up Line Dancing
Your Other Left Line Dancing will hold a Pop-Up Line Dance Class on Mon., July 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the IU Kokomo Pavilion, 2300 S. Washington St. The pavilion is located on the northeast side of the campus. The dancing will take place on the stage, but participants are encouraged to bring along a lawn chair for the occasional break under the shade trees. Make sure to bring water. Restrooms will be open at the Student Activities Center next to the pavilion. This event is designed for adults ages 18 and up. All participants must sign a waiver.
Drums Alive!
Build a sense of community while doing cardio at the Kokomo Howard County Public Library’s Drums Alive! session on Mon., July 21, from 6:30-7:15 p.m. The event will take place at the library’s south branch, 1755 E. Mental Health Access Days
Are you an adult struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenge? Meet with a professional from 4C Health who can connect you to the support and services you need. Mental Health Access Days are held each Tuesday from 9 a.m. until noon at the Kokomo Howard County Public Library’s main branch, 220 N. Union St.
Free Summer Food Bags
This summer, all Tipton County families with kids under age 17 can register to pick up a free weekly food bag. Through Aug. 2, the bags will be available at the Tipton County Family Resource Center, 3021 W. Old St. (Ind. 28), as well as the Boys and Girls Club, and the Love Bug Café, 222 S. Independence St. The pick-up times are Mondays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Each bag includes shelf-stable, kid-friendly food items along with a voucher for hot food from The Love Bug Café. Register in person at the Family Resource Center or call 765-667-7001 for additional information. The summer food bag program is accepting donations and volunteers throughout the summer. Cleaning and Hygiene Supplies Giveaway
Southside Christian Church, 201 E. Markland Ave., will hold as Cleaning and Hygiene Supplies Giveaway on Tue., July 22, beginning at 11 a.m. The church has enough supplies to serve just the first 30 people in line. The giveaway baskets will include dish soap, laundry soap, toilet cleaner, and other cleaning supplies.
Book Buddy Book Club
Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities - regardless of reading ability - can join the Kokomo Howard County Public Library on Tue., July 22, from 2-2:45 p.m. to read, make friends, and have fun. The club will meet at the library’s main branch, 220 N. Union St.
Mocktails and Masterpieces
Explore your creativity while enjoying refreshing, alcohol-free beverages at the Kokomo Howard County Public Library! Those Nifty over Fifty and Friends will feel successful creating a small watercolor bookmark and learning to make an easy non-alcoholic beverage at the library’s south branch, 1755 E. Planting a Butterfly Garden
Are you curious about what you need to plant a butterfly garden? Tropical Twirlers
Join Tropical Twirlers for a fun, energetic island-themed party where children ages 3-5 explore movement and rhythm through music, twirls, and giggles! Summer Lunch Program
The Kokomo Housing Authority, Bridgeway Church, United Way Serving Howard and Tipton Counties, the Howard County Health Department, the Center Township Trustee’s Office, Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union, Northview Church, and Crossroads Community Church have collaborated to launch the Howard County Summer Lunch Program. Each Wednesday through July 23, all students from Howard County are eligible to receive a hot meal from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Bon Air Park, Garden Square Apartments, and Pine Valley Apartments. They also can receive a grab-n-go bag of food during each event. If there are hot meals still available at the end of each event, adults may purchase a hot meal for $5. The Howard County Health Department and 4C Health will offer a QPR class on Thu., July 24, from 6-8 p.m. at the Century Villa Community Room, 705 N. Meridian St., Greentown. This program is designed to save lives by providing practical and proven suicide prevention training. Music at the Fairgrounds

Kokomo 2025 Photo Contest
The Kokomo Parks and Recreation Department is holding its annual Photo Contest, with passes to Kokomo Beach as the prize. Shutterbugs have four chances to win by submitting their work ahead of the July 25 deadline. There are four categories of photos in the competition: Play and Explore, Move and Thrive, Celebrate and Gather, and Golden Moments. Submit photos on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #Kokomo4Ways2Play. Public voting begins Aug, 2, and the winners will receive passes to Kokomo Beach.
