Active Readers Club
Join the Kokomo Howard County Public Library on Tue., May 27, from 8:30-9:30 a.m., to stay active and share your favorite reads while walking around Russiaville. Inclement weather times will include an indoor workout at the library, 315 Mesa Dr.
Mental Health Access Days
Are you an adult struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenge? Meet with a professional from 4C Health who can connect you to the support and services you need. Mental Health Access Days are held each Tuesday from 9 a.m. until noon at the Kokomo Howard County Public Library’s main branch, 220 N. Union St.
Drums Alive! Golden Beats
Seniors can use rhythmic drumming and upbeat music to improve health, coordination, and strength at the Kokomo Howard County Public Library’s Drums Alive! – Golden Beats session on Tue., May 27, from 10-10:45 a.m. The event will take place at the library’s south branch, 1755 E. Free Summer Food Bags
This summer, all Tipton County families with kids under age 17 can register to pick up a free weekly food bag. From May 27 through Aug. 2, the bags will be available at the Tipton County Family Resource Center, 3021 W. Old St. (Ind. 28), as well as the Boys and Girls Club, and the Love Bug Café, 222 S. Independence St. The pick-up times are Mondays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Each bag includes shelf-stable, kid-friendly food items along with a voucher for hot food from The Love Bug Café. Register in person at the Family Resource Center or call 765-667-7001 doe additional information. The summer food bag program is accepting donations and volunteers throughout the summer. Veterans’ Luncheon
Waterford Place Patio Homes, 711 St. Joseph Dr., will hold a Veterans’ Luncheon honoring local veterans for their service to the country on Tue., May 27, from noon until 1 p.m. Call 765-236-1239 for more information.
Tzion Community Food Pantry
Congregation Yeshivat Tzion, 614 W. Monroe St., holds a community food pantry every other Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. Bring your own boxes or bags to take home food. The next pantry takes place Tue., May 20. For more information, call 765-438-6858.
Bluey Party
The Greentown Public Library will hold a Bluey Party on Tue., May 27, from 6-8 p.m. in the Eastern Elementary School cafeteria. Color Our World during a night of Bluey fun to help kick off the summer reading program. There will be snacks, games, crafts, activities, giveaways, and more!

Little Learners Story Time
Join the Kokomo Howard County Public Library for a journey into the world of stories, rhythm, and creativity. This delightful class is crafted for children ages 3 to 5, where imagination knows no bounds and learning is an adventure. Aerobics with Marcus

Welcome Table, a new Christian community will hold Café Wednesdays from 2-4 p.m. at the Starbucks next to the Markland Mall. Teen Summer Reading Program
The Greentown Public Library, 421 S. Harrison St., will hold its Teen Summer Reading Program through May 30. During the program, several special events will be held. On Wed., May 28, the library will host a Glow in the Dark party from 3-5 p.m. The afternoon will include glowing paint, creative crafts, epic music, delicious food and non-stop fun. Open Mic Stand Up Comedy
Think you’re funny? Prove it. An Open Mic Stand Up Comedy evening will take place Wed., May 28, at Rhine Hall Entertainment and Events, 504 N. Union St. Presented and hosted by Randy Maurer Comedy, admission is free to this event, which begins at 8 p.m. There is a two-drink minimum. Summer Cafeteria Service
Lewis Cass Schools will offer free summer cafeteria service for students ages 18 and under from May 30 until June 27. The meals will be offered at Lewis Cass Elementary, 6540 E, SR 218, in Walton. Enter through Door 1. Breakfast will be served from 9-10 a.m., and lunch follows from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Weekly Produce Pantry
Tzion Food Pantry, 614 W. Monroe St., holds a weekly produce food pantry every Friday from 1-3 p.m. Bring your own bags or boxes to take home your produce.
Rising Star Vocal Competition
Rhine Hall Entertainment and Event Venue, 507 N. Union St., will hold a Rising Star Vocal Competition on May 30, June 13, and June 27, with the finalists competing on July 18 for the top prize of $500. There will be hundreds of dollars in other prizes awarded to competitors. Benefits from this competition will go to Rhum Academy of Music. Greentown Glass Festival Cruise In
A Cruise In will be held as part of the Greentown Glass Festival on Sat., June 14, taking place at the American Legion Post 317 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The entrance fee is $15, and dash plaques will be given to the first 60 to register.
